Cabin vacation rentals in Haliburton County

My friends and I had a great time at Elias' cottage! The cottage was so comfortable with plenty of seating room, enough bedrooms (with super comfy beds!), and a great screened in porch. Unfortunately we didn't have great weather, but we spent the majority of our time in the covered hot tub which was amazing. We look forward to coming back soon!!

We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay here! The house was beautiful, spotless, and looked even better than the pictures already were. The hosts did an amazing job to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing time. Victoria and Jason were extremely welcoming, responsive, and ensured everything was perfect. Highly recommend to anyone!

What a beautiful place! The dock area with hot-tub, picnic table and huge seating area in a serene lake setting with trees was incredible. The cottage itself clean and comfortable with many places to sit quietly or enjoy games together. I highly recommend! It was a cold and rainy weekend for us, but we still had fun! We can imagine how wonderful it would be in warmer weather! The hosts were very responsive to questions and very helpful.

Amazing view! Great place to escape and still be connected! Perfect place for a little getaway! Will 100% be recommending this spot to friends and Family!

Jeff's home is a lovely escape any time of year! He is a very kind and thoughtful host and made sure we got out safely after a big winter storm. This bnb has all the amenities you could need and is very comfortable. We had an amazing time and hope to be back soon. Thanks Jeff!

great place to stay, right on the water. Tucked away in the Forrest, this cottage is very private, peaceful, but still close enough to different things around the area (i.e. golf courses, restaurants, hiking trails) that gives you options. The inside was simple but cute, clean and has pretty much everything you need - just read their detailed instructions carefully to make your stay even better. Overall, beautiful well-kept property, stunning views, and great place to escape for awhile. Would absolutely stay again

We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Really clean place, super close to the lake! not as private as we thought it would be but still amazing! Eleasha was super sweet and responsive, we had a great time :)

We had a lovely stay at Natasha's. Home was very new, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Just loved admiring all the beautiful trees! We had a dog with us and walking around the surroundings was so peaceful. Sauna/spa was great after a long walk. Very close to Haliburton and Minden. There is a very nice country market nearby as well. Highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful retreat with a modern touch.

The cottage was amazing. the shore to go into the water is so clean and sandy making it easy to swim or launch kayaks. we had a great time. The walk around the cottage was also pretty. On a clear night we were able to see the stars which was the best thing. the amenities and rooms were super comfortable as well. definitely coming back to this. one thing to note would be the timings to dispose the garbage and recycling and Co ordinate it accordingly with your check out time.

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful long weekend getaway at the cottage. It was clean, well stocked, and easily accommodated our large group. Blair and Erin were helpful and responsive. The property was well laid out with great spaces for meals, chats, and relaxing. And the sauna and large dock were greatly appreciated. We would certainly love to return!

We had a great stay. Small little cabin but had everything you could possibly need. Inside the cabin. The indoor wood burning stove was excellent and cozy. We brought wood from home however they do offer wood at a cost if need be. If you're looking for a quaint little cabin that has all the amenities, I would highly recommend this place!

We had a great week at Puerto Betty. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. The lake provides miles of boating and great fishing opportunities! The cottage was clean and cozy. The beach is sandy at first but gets very weedy quickly so taking the paddle boat out to the floating raft to swim is the best option.

My husband Steve and I stayed 3 nights at Jessica's beautiful cottage on Gull Lake. We felt right at home upon arrival and found everything we needed for our stay. There were hooks in the bathroom and both bedrooms to keep organized during our stay. The whole cottage is tastefully decorated and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Great outdoor space on the deck for eating and the BBQ was clean and worked well. The firepit area overlooks the water and we enjoyed a fire every evening. The dock was our favourite place to have coffee in the morning. We easily launched our paddle boards from the beach area. The property was beautiful and well kept. We would definitely rent Jessica's cottage again! Thanks for a great long weekend, Janet & Steve

beautiful cabin, super cozy! in the day we walked around the forest, waded in the river, swam in the nearby lakes and beaches, and at night we made a fire and gazed up at the stars, just such a lovely time. the hosts are extremely responsive and recommended great things to do :))

Jordan was very responsive and gave detailed instructions about the check in and how to turn on the power and heating. The cabin was perfect and cozy! It was spotless clean, and the nature sounds were just beautiful. This is my first ‘glamping’ trip with my partner and I’m so happy we spent our anniversary here! Our daschund Roscoe also very much enjoyed the forest! There’s also this restaurant 20mins away called “K Pub Chicken” and it’s THEE best Korean fried chicken we’ve had (even better than ones in Toronto!). Overall, I really recommend this place and already miss it! Will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful time unplugging in nature at Patricks cottage. We loved the wood burning fireplace at night and waking to the beautiful view. We enjoyed using the canoe and swimming even though it was a bit cooler. We also enjoyed a nice hike around Thank you for a wonderful stay and for all your recommendations

Stayed for 2 nights as a couple visiting from Australia. We were drawn to the place due to its seclusion.. and the sauna which was much needed after travelling for weeks; to ease the tight neck you get from sleeping on different beds and pillows. The cabin is clean, insta worthy decor and stocked with all the essentials. Id love to come back in the depths of winter to make the most of the fire pit. Little too many midgies in the evening to warrant lighting it. Very warm and cosy in the the bed at night. Really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to all.

Nice and cozy cabin perfect for a relaxing weekend by the lake; close to many hiking areas and access to good restaurants!

We had a wonderful time at Kelly’s cottage over the April long weekend. The beds are comfortable, rooms well-sized, and the bathroom nicely renovated. The grounds are beautiful and great for a family. Our kids (age 2, 5 and 7) loved the playground and running up and down the big hill. The area was pretty quiet while we were there but is close the road and the marina so may be busier in the summer. Kelly was also very communicative and helpful and even dropped off a clothes steamer for us!
