The Bridles -26718

LouiseRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a fabulous week at The Bridles, part of Ash Farm Barns. Jane, the host, was very friendly and helpful, along with Skye (the dog!). It’s such a peaceful cottage; loads of wildlife and birds can be seen and heard right from the large patio doors. The cottage was cosy and homely, and really well equipped. There was absolutely everything we needed. We loved lighting the log-burning stove in the evening, even though the place was never cold! Very handy location for Lincoln, but also for a range of more rural activities such as walking and birdwatching. There are plenty of wildlife places of interest and local walks, close by. We were happy to find English partridge close by, helped by Matt’s local knowledge. Overall, we have had a wonderfully relaxing week and we were very impressed with the cottage and area. I’m sure we’ll return in the future. Overall

Cosy Lincs Wolds cottage in picturesque Tealby

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a get away with my wife daughter and our 3 dogs. The cottage was easy to find and just how the description and photos portrayed it. The owners have made a great job of equipping the cottage and all the furniture was clean and comfortable especially the bedrooms. The bathroom was downstairs which wasn’t ideal when we had 3 dogs asleep in the kitchen but it was a small price to pay. There is a parking space to the back of the property but it is a tight squeeze if you have a larger SUV or similar but there is parking on the road. The local pub was lovely but advisable to book in advance.

Super cute cosy country cottage.

CarolRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Cottage was beautiful and Tealby really is a very pretty village. We didn't get a chance to try the tearooms because they were closed during our short stay but we did go to The Kings Head which is lovely and serves delicious food. There's plenty of lovely walks right from the front door which is exactly what we wanted! Would definitely return

Woldside Cottage- 5mins from Cadwell Race Track

This was our 2nd visit and was just as good as before. Again spotless, clean, tidy and comfortable. So peaceful and quiet. Found some new places to explore, Huttoft Beach - highly recommended if you just want the beach and sea. I think Woldside Cottage will be a regular visit for a short break. Thank you Becky.

Clematis Cottage Tealby LN8 3XU

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at Clemetis Cottage for one week. We arrived with clear arrival instructions and a wonderful welcome which included all sorts of treats, such as wine and chocolates, the dog even had his own bag of treats, such a lovely start to our trip. The cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. The kitchen was really well stocked with glasses, crockery and staple foods. I had to work in Lincoln and coming back to the cottage each night was such a treat. The cottage is in a beautiful setting with a tearoom next door, a great pub and lots of country walks. Tealby is a great village and very conveniently situated for visiting the coast and other parts of Lincolnshire. We hope to return, we loved it so much.

Cosy Country Cottage in the heart of Lincolnshire

VerityRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The cottage is beautiful with two different seating areas and the private garden, which was large enough for our 8 yr old to run around! There were great facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen, a woodstove with logs (although we didn't use this as it was summer) and a BBQ, which we did use and was great. The only thing to be wary of is that as a cottage, it has low ceilings and beams, so taller people have to be careful. In particular, the shower is low and I had to crouch slightly to wash my hair (I'm 5'9"). However, once you've got used to this, it is part of the charm and character of the cottage! This area is well located for exploring the Wolds and we also had a great day at nearby Wild Pines doing archery and high ropes! I would highly recommend this cottage as a cosy and well-equipped place.

The Paddock - an incredibly spacious bungalow

RossRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Paddock is one of the nicest places we've stayed in. A truly stunning house. incredibly spacious and a gorgeous place to relax in. it's a good location to explore Lincolnshire from. The dining table that converts to a pool/snooker table was one of our personal highlights. As well as a delicious cake, there was also a card and bottle of bubbly for my wife, as we arrived on her birthday. Pam is an excellent host. Great communication before and during the stay, responding quickly to any questions we had.
