Glacier View Lodge is an Alaska style home with large wrap-around decks that offer full advantage of the spectacular glacier view. Across the road from the beach (remember we're in Alaska), the home revolves around the ground floor great room and open kitchen. Three bedrooms (2 - 2x doubles and one king) and full bathrooms round out the ground floor, while the 4th (king) bedroom and full bath are on the floor above. Please note: for everyone's safety - no parties or large gatherings permitted.

The Chilkoot Cottage: Bear Viewing & Fishing

This quiet and cozy 2-bedroom cottage is located 10 miles from Haines near the famous Chilkoot River, where bears and eagles congregate. Enjoy sweeping views of Lutak Inlet and the beach where bears and eagles may be seen. Chilkoot River and Lake are just down the road and offer fishing for salmon and world-famous bear viewing. The house is fully furnished and feels like a real Alaskan home. Chilkoot Cottage is truly the best location in Haines to enjoy a real Alaskan experience.

Apartment #2 has one bedroom with a queen bed and a low-ceiling sleeping loft in the bedroom that is accessed by a ladder. Not suitable for small children or those with mobility issues. The loft has two fold-out floor mattresses. NOTE: the BBQ is not available October to April

Loved this place. We have stayed at quite a few Skagway Air B n Bs over the years and this was by far our favorite. It’s bigger than expected and I don’t think the photos do it justice. It was very well appointed, comfortable, quiet, and close to everything. Our host was great. We would love to stay here again.

We loved this house! It felt like visiting your grandmother's house with all of the beautiful decorative pieces and photos of what the house looked like when it was first built as homes for the Fort Seward officers. We felt so at home! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Lily Pad is a great spot to stay in Skagway! It had everything we might need, and the beds were made with cozy, beautiful quilts. I could tell Becky has put a lot of time and intentionality into the Lily Pad. I would stay here again and recommend it!

Large sliding glass doors provide a view of the tranquil waterfront, framed by snowcapped mountains in the distance. A wooden deck extends outside, allowing easy access for enjoying the serene landscape.

This B&B — in an old guardhouse at the former Fort Seward — is located in one of the prettiest parts of Haines. Walkable to downtown and the beach, with a couple markets nearby for quick items. Finnegan (the dog) is an added bonus :) Cozy, comfy and quiet.

Great place! We barely spent any time there; mostly just used it as a base camp for a ski weekend from Whitehorse. But it was clean, easy to get to, and a beautiful view out of the front window!
