House vacation rentals in Hainaut

We had a great stay at this place with three couples and two toddlers. The rooms were a bit tight with a crib, but perfectly adequate. The kitchen has the standard equipment of appliances – a leaking coffee machine kept us busy, but should now be replaced (nobody had previously reported it to the hosts). The surroundings and the ambience with views of the castle are simply fantastic. In sunny weather, you can spend all day on the premises without it getting boring. The dogs often run around freely and are very affectionate and playful, so wonderful for dog fans! The sauna instructions could be a little more detailed, but after a few tries we got them working. All in all, a great place to just unwind or spend time with friends or family. Would recommend to anyone!

We very much enjoyed the stay in Thuin. The house has many nooks and crannies, which makes it pleasant to stay there with a large group. In addition, the garden and swimming pool made for an unforgettable weekend! We highly recommend it.

Absolute heaven. A slice of peaceful paradise. We stayed for just 1 night on our way through Europe with two boys aged 11 and 8. Within minutes of arriving we were swimming in the beautiful swimming pool, eating in the gorgeous kitchen, stroking the sweet dog and cats, playing ping pong, table football and wishing we were staying for longer. Highly recommend. Generous, kind warm hosts. Thank you for making it so memorable and special.

Very nicely decorated home full of authentic elements. Although the village was clearly alive, it was very quiet. Very convenient location to get out into nature & then have a snack in the local pizzeria or brasserie.

We had a lovely stay with family for 2 nights at Alexandra's. We were 4 adults and 3 children including a baby. The owner is lovely, very friendly, available and caring. A big thank you for the small welcome chocolates, the children loved these treats! The accommodation is modern, well-equipped (oven, microwave, dishwasher, iron, baby bed available, etc.) it is tastefully decorated, spacious and above all very quiet, surrounded by fields as far as the eye can see: a real haven of peace. Small downside for families with young children: the staircase has a railing on only one side, and no safety barrier upstairs, so be very vigilant. Also, in one of the bedrooms, the two single beds pushed together leave a slight gap in the middle when lying down, which is not ideal for a couple if you have a child sleeping with you. Despite these small details, we highly recommend this rental. Excellent host, warm welcome

From the entrance, the atmosphere is set: soft lighting, elegant and sensual decoration, everything is designed to create an intimate and warm atmosphere. The room was very clean, well-equipped (jacuzzi, light games, ceiling speakers with special attention to small details The jacuzzi was a real plus, very clean and perfectly functional, ideal for relaxing for two. Sound insulation is good, you really feel like you're in a cocoon, far from everyday stress. A great choice for a couple, romantic or just to rekindle the flame. We will come back without hesitation! we were warmly welcomed by Bruno and Annie in their gîte "le Quesnoi". A nice compact space with everything you need. The outdoor space was a wonderful oasis of peace, Ibiza style, a large beautiful garden with palm trees with a swimming pool that you could use for a small fee. Our reason for booking an Airbnb here was that it was near Pairi Daiza Zoo. A visit to this zoo is highly recommended! The city of Tournai is also definitely worth a visit. Furthermore, we went to an Oldtimer museum in nearby Leuze and Hainaut and visited the castle of Beloeuil.

Very friendly hosts, beautiful house with really nice surroundings. Kids love the play room, the swings, the outdoor area and suggesting us to go back next time. Close to Pairi Daiza, a lot of good restaurants nearby. Really recommended to stay in this place.

Me and 6 friends stayed at Françoise's cottage for 4 nights. In front of the door we could park both cars, which was very pleasant. Everything looked nice and tidy, also it is of course a wonderfully quiet area where you can walk nicely. A supermarket relatively nearby (5 min by car) and plenty to do within a 30-minute drive. The mattresses seemed somewhat hard at first, but these slept fine! The shower on the 1st floor does not have that much water pressure, but this was also not really disturbing. All in all, the cottage is very cozy, well clean and many basic things you often use are already present in the cottage (oil, herbs, foil, etc.) The contact with Françoise himself was also really great! Often within 30 min/1 hour already a useful and friendly answer. Thanks Françoise!! Who knows until next time ;)

A very cozy and warm nest in which it is very pleasant to stay. The decor is neat, the bed linen is pretty. The different living spaces are as charming as each other. Even though check-in is autonomous, Mylène remained available and attentive to us. Back in Thuin in a month, we booked again without hesitation. We didn't like any other cottage in the area as much.

As it is in the photo, it is even much better in person. The place is really spacious and everyone from us had a comfortable place to rest and sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to make good homemade food. The while place was very clean and tidy. It felt really home. Our hosts are also very responsive and nice. We highly recommend it!

Super nice and well equipped Airbnb. Fully equipped. Highly recommendable. Beautiful walks in the area and plenty of other activities to do, from Geocashen to beer tasting. Please note that sleeping place 5&6 is a sofa bed in a room that is not lockable and is located next to the living room.

We celebrated my best friend's bachelor party for 2 days, very large, clean accommodation and nothing missing! Christine is very friendly and accommodating. We'll be happy to go back! Anthony

We had 3 very nice days with eight of us in this house. Beautiful kitchen, very nice rooms with bathrooms so that was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good during our stay, but this house lends itself perfectly to cooking/dining extensively and having a drink by the fireplace. However, there is very little to do in the village. It felt like a ghost town with only 2 bakeries open. If you are looking for a quiet environment, this is very suitable, but if you are looking for some 'life in the brewery', there is only the beer tasting of Chimay where you can go and then it stops. All in all, a nice house for a large family or some older company that comes for relaxation.
