Clémentine's place is spacious and conducive to calm. Atypical, with stairs to go up and down often, don't get dizzy! Carefully renovated, we particularly appreciated the accessible speaker allowing us to listen to music in the house with the phone… Beautiful walks in the forest are within walking distance in the surrounding area. Close to Pairi Daiza too, 20 minutes' drive. We had a great time with our 9.5 year old daughter and thank Clémentine for her welcome basket and responsiveness on arrival.

Great location for cycling

A huge thank you to Catherine for her warm welcome, kindness and advice. The house is full of charm, comfortable and perfectly equipped. It immediately feels like a cocoon. The surrounding calm and nearby walks make it an ideal place to unwind. A very nice break, simple and authentic.

We had 3 very nice days with eight of us in this house. Beautiful kitchen, very nice rooms with bathrooms so that was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good during our stay, but this house lends itself perfectly to cooking/dining extensively and having a drink by the fireplace. However, there is very little to do in the village. It felt like a ghost town with only 2 bakeries open. If you are looking for a quiet environment, this is very suitable, but if you are looking for some 'life in the brewery', there is only the beer tasting of Chimay where you can go and then it stops. All in all, a nice house for a large family or some older company that comes for relaxation.

Beautiful, spacious accommodation. Well stocked kitchen (quite rare in my experience) and amazing secure outside space for the dog. Guido was very kind to allow us to check in early which helped us enormously. Would definitely recommend and return as come to area often.

Beautiful house. Perfect to stay a few days or much longer and enjoy all the tranquility in the house and the entire area. The house is beautifully decorated, very neat, well organized and equipped with everything you can think of. Ideal for spending beautiful evenings in peace and with all comforts. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy the Flemish Ardennes and who wants to unwind. Too bad the house isn't for sale...

We were very impressed with the interior and spacious house. Everywhere you looked you discovered beautiful vintage treasures, wonderful! The kids enjoyed the pool! Highly recommended!

Corinne and Peter are fantastic hosts as you would wish. The place is really outstanding. Everything is available in very good quality and very spacious. We felt very comfortable as a family with children and pets. You do not have to bring water and/or coffee and can use it free of charge. We will be happy to come back and recommend this place. Even for just one family, I was happy to pay the price, because it was really worth it ;-) Thanks for everything

We had a nice weekend at this place. Our host was very kind and responsive. The places were beautiful and well maintained. Despite the busy road in front of the house, the place was very peaceful because the accommodation is located at the back, and therefore no traffic noise or other.

A beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the wonderful garden and the quiet surroundings with our 9-month-old daughter. Our dog Bowi also had a great time with Peter's dog Chopin, they were inseparable. Peter is very kind and responds quickly. Provided a delicious breakfast every day. Got a nice tip to eat at Friterie du Saule, highly recommended! Thanks Peter and who knows, see you next time!

i cannot say enough about Gordon's place - it was beautiful and quirky and stylish and comfortable. I was travelling with my dog between north america and africa and he was very welcoming, doing everything he could to make us feel at home during our two day layover. Gordon himself struck the perfect balance of being present but not intrusive - the perfect host, really.

Such an amazing place to stay at. The surroundings were beautiful and it was lovely to spend time at the domain. Olivier is a very friendly and responsive host. The pool and tennis court were so nice to have. Just amazing.

Incredibly cozy place surrounded by a breathtaking scenery and a private lake. The landlord was more than welcoming by accepting us in a respectful manner, delivering us a delicious homemade breakfast exactly at the request time, and even offering us to stay longer for free. Highly recommended!

i had a great weekend. the proximity to the train station is a real plus and many places to visit nearby. The place is quiet and well maintained and my hosts were responsive when I had questions. i highly recommend it.

A bubble of happiness at Marie Bonheur's. Peaceful, soothing, relaxing, the accommodation is conducive to disconnecting. It was perfect for us to visit the surroundings, but also to enjoy the calm as a family. Accommodation OK for 8-month-old babies. Nothing else to say. Spaces are bright. Special mention, in our opinion, for the kitchen: a treasure. The atmosphere of this accommodation deserves to be known. Marieke too. Her human warmth reigns in her home. We would recommend, talk about it and come back at the next opportunity.

A peaceful oasis where you can feel good. Certainly no kitchenette as manon explained it to us but the services offered for breakfast and fridge made available allow you to adapt quietly. Sleeping areas are perfect. And the shower is big and nice. I recommend for people to stop by and enjoy the corner of paradise. Listing is as described. It is very convenient for a family of 4 with a nice little outdoor area. Very close to Pairi Daiza which is great with children, less than 10 minutes by car. The house manual was perfect for knowing how the appliances, restaurants and shops nearby work (thank you for the Frite Mobile), and the little story of the house is super interesting. And above all, thank you to the hosts who are super responsive and who have all the little touches for children (folding crib, high chair, gate, small books, etc.). Thanks for this little trip!

Clean and spacious accommodation, very well-equipped. Rarely seen so many small touches (coffee, tea, fresh water… and more). Perfect location because it's close to Pairi Daiza. Drawback on the noise (especially the very close and irregular bells)

We absolutely loved the accommodation- on a road junction but on the top floor and double glazed windows so road noise not an issue. So conveniently situated to be able to walk into the city centre. Parking very available and our car was safe. The flat was spotlessly clean- with everything provided that you might need. Very generous host.
