Take a swim in Lake Salsnäs (4 km) or Hesjön (5.5 km). Ride a sidecar in the beautiful forests. Close to grocery store (5 km) and Axelsson's farm shop in Aby with pick-your-own strawberries (6 km). Fenced plot, patio with barbecue grill. Cleaning is done by guests, final cleaning can be purchased. Bed linens and towels are included.

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.

The yellow house in the old festival town of Hultsfred

This little yellow house is situated in the legendary festival village of Hultsfred - where one of Sweden's first and biggest festival took place from 1986-2009. You find the house between the central village and the beautiful park that used to be the festival area and today host a lovely scenery, a camping area and historical wooden houses kept as they were back in the 1800s. We rent out the house based on self-service which means you as a guest is responsible for cleaning before you leave.

Stuga om 2 rum och kök från 1800-talet, nyrenoverad i gammal stil med nytt kök med diskmaskin och helkaklat badrum med dusch, handfat och toalett. Varmvatten. Stugan ligger på en kulle med sjöutsikt från verandan och de två rummen. Verandan har förmiddagssol och uteplatsen har eftermiddags- och kvällssol. Grill. Vardagsrummet har öppen spis. Vedeldad bastu privat vid sjön kan hyras, likaså roddbåt. Möjlighet till vandring, fiske, bär- och svampplockning. Vackert gammalt kulturlandskap.

18th century Twin Cottage

The Twin Cottage from the 18th century is situated in a small hamlet with grazing animals and foot paths in the surrounding forest and fields. We have 45 km to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren’s world. The area of ‘Bråbygden’ is known for it rich flora and well kept fields. Bråhultesjön, 6 km from us, is a nice lake for bathing. Twin Cottage is like old times attatched house. We live in one part of the house and you rent the other. The garden is a fine place to enjoy evenings. Warmly welcome!

Karlsborg

Huset, en ljuvlig sommardröm med snickarglädje, är beläget i den trevliga byn Hagelsrum, 5 km från Målilla. Det är byggt 1907, varsamt renoverat, ljust och välkomnande. Äppelträd, pioner och syrener. En bit nedanför slingrar sig Silverån. Kohagarna utanför tomten sträcker sig långt och gör landskapet soligt ljust och vackert. Det finns gott om skog där man kan ströva omkring, plocka bär och svamp, njuta av kaffe i termos med en smörgås till, lyssna på tystnaden och känna skogens dofter.

Slappna av och njut i detta unika och nybyggda boende (2023) vid vägs ände i djupaste skogarna runt Virserum. Naturen inbjuder till långa promenader med fantastiska vyer och fina stigar. Huset inbjuder till vilsamma stunder att se på djur och natur genom de stora fönstren, till gemensam matlagning vid spisen, insupa en god bok i någon av de sköna fåtöljerna eller varför inte få till en härlig brasa i kaminen under höst och vinter. Denna natur och detta hus ska verkligen upplevas på plats.

Welcome to a charming farm cottage from the 1880s, just 10 minutes from Vimmerby. Enjoy a rural stay with modern comfort and space for 6 – two sofa beds downstairs, one double and two single beds in the loft. Duvets, pillows, kitchen and toilet towels are included. Bring your own bed linen and towels, or rent for 100 SEK/set. Shower and washing machine in a separate room. Garden, forest and meadows nearby. Bathing spot 2.5 km away. Uncleaned stay will incur a cleaning fee of 500 SEK.
