Guesthouse vacation rentals in Haarlem

Gemma and Dirk made sure our stay was comfortable and check in was absolutely stress-free. They were available if we needed help and provided us with tips to get us settled in Heemstede. All the necessary bits are in walking distance including a train station with trains running to Den Haag and Amsterdam every few minutes. The kitchen provides all necessary things and the bathrooms are tidy and one has a big shower. Everything like in the pictures! For good restaurants you'd best take the bus to Haarlem Center. It's a 20 min drive or a nice stroll along the canals. For those considering the apartment please note that all touristy cities require a train from Heemstede. But this was crucial for us to be at rest in the evening. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place to everyone seeking a private retreat off the tracks.

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Great stay at Vera's who is adorable. The accommodation is cute, clean, and as described. The neighborhood is beautiful, there is a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast is perfect, varied with quality products. I can only recommend this place.

We spent a week at Jan and Marina’s place and have enjoyed our time there. A really delightful safe haven as a base to explore more of the Netherlands. We did not expect that in the centre of Nijkerk we could enjoy a very peaceful private space to enjoy the outside with turtles and a cheeky squirrel. All amenities are very close with fresh fruit and bakery just across the road, and a pleasant square with numerous restaurants and shops. Larger supermarkets are also within walking distance. Free parking available across the road too. The accommodation was spotless and provided all the home comforts. We have had a very comfortable and relaxed stay, Jan and Marina are a lovely couple and very welcoming and available if we needed anything. Highly recommend their accommodation and will definitely stay again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

We had a very nice stay at Ton's place. Very quiet place, perfect to rest and to discover Nordholland, its mills and its polders.

Had a lovely (and rainy!) evening :) Even more amenities than expected and felt extremely comfortable. Loved meeting the chickens and the breakfast display. Jaap was very kind and we appreciate his time and help. Thank you for helping us start our Dutch adventure peacefully!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and located in a charming little town that’s simply amazing. The hosts were truly wonderful—warm, spontaneous, and incredibly thoughtful. Ebitha even treated us to a delicious homemade apple pie, which was such a sweet surprise and made us feel right at home. If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would—Airbnb really needs to add that option for places like this! Highly, highly recommended!

A great apartment for families due to the two separate bedrooms. We loved the seperate entrance and the private garden with a slide and swing for our son. Lovely neighborhood. Top shower and washing machine, open kitchen. Check-in was very simple and everything worked well, so we did not have to communicate much. But when we did, it was very pleasant. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood, and it was very refreshing to see a glimpse of the local people's lives.Walking and cycling around was also fun.The room was very clean and tidy, and at night you could see the stars from the ceiling windows, and in the morning you could hear the birds chirping, and it was a very relaxing space.I wanted to do yoga in a very beautiful garden, and when I consulted, they kindly lent me a yoga mat.That experience was the highlight of our trip.Dax and Willemijn were friendly and quick to respond, which was helpful.Thank you very much:)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

Where to start...first of all, the contact with Kristel and Frans was extremely easy and proactive. They gave us a very friendly welcome and made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is a cute little place for two people. Everything you need was there. We also spent a lot of time with Frans and had really great conversations. Kristel and Frans were very open and accommodating. We didn't lack for anything. They gave us tips on where we could eat well, what we could see and where we could fish well. We would particularly like to emphasize Frans sincerity and his positive and funny manner. Talking to him was never boring and always funny! Our highlight was on the last evening. Frans invited us to go fishing on the boat. We spent 3 hours on the water with Frans and had a really great time. We will be back and will bring a crate of beer next time. Thank you two, we won't forget you.

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed very good and everything practical and nicely decorated. The location is great and a free large parking lot is just around the corner. Nel is very accommodating, quickly accessible and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Very cozy mini apartment. It had a small but sufficient and beautiful garden. The area is very nice! Petra is charming and very concerned about helping with everything! You feel at home! It's not that close to Amsterdam, but a few blocks away there's a train and in about 20 minutes you get to the city. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful break in the Casita Boonita, which is so lovingly furnished down to the last detail❣️ by Agaath. We didn't miss anything and we felt at home. Even on a rainy day, it is no problem to simply make yourself super comfortable in the Casita. The kitchen is also super equipped. Agaath gave us such valuable tips for the excursions that every day was perfect and the delivery service for the bicycles is simply recommended! Erna is truly an amazing Hostess and she is so generous with everything. I only chose to stay in Barneveld reading the reviews of Erna and her delicious breakfast since my husband and I wanted to be spoiled a bit. Barneveld is quiet but with a car you can drive. It exceeded expectations. She provides an amazing and clean accommodation. The bed is so comfortable and there are plenty of towels for guests to use. The little kitchenette was convenient and came with a toaster oven and a hot plate. There is no microwave but we managed fine since we stayed for two days. Erna also allowed us to use her washer and dryer. Helped us to order pizza. She welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine and chilled beers and drinks. I loved the garden which is so cute and well planned. She has all the cutlery and assorted glasses you will need. I am back in Canada and still dreaming of Erna and her warm hospitality and delicious breakfast. Thank you for everything you did for my husband and me, Erna. Love

We spent a week vacationing with our 1 1/2-year-old son at Leah and Tom's and would have liked to stay there much longer. The two have a wonderful, cozy apartment and a fantastic garden that invites you to linger and was a great place for our son to romp and explore. Both in the apartment and the garden, you immediately notice that a place to feel good has been created with a lot of love. Even a lot of toys for our son were there. :-) In addition, we want to say one more thing: We have already used AirBnB many times, but we have never had such great, friendly and helpful landlords like Leah and Tom. They were always there to help (especially when it came to tips for activities with our son) and there was always time for a private conversation. Incredibly lovely people! We would have liked to give more than 5 stars! :-)

Beautiful typical house, well located because it's close to the center of Laren. Very quiet place with a beautiful garden. Well-equipped rental. We had a lovely stay at this place.

Daphne's apartment is in a great location for trips to Amsterdam and had everything you could need. Daphne is a very nice and accommodating host and responded very quickly to my questions.
