Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Guimarães

The house is as it appears in the photos. It's very nice. It offers a setting in nature and with total tranquility to spend a few days of total rest and reading. It is also close to Braga and Guimaraes if you want to go on excursions. There is a restaurant very close by that you can walk to and eat well. Concensao is super friendly and very nice, always attentive if you need anything. Although she lives upstairs, it is a totally private space.

Great place, the garden and pool is really cool

Ivone's home is old world charm with modern amenities. The location of the home is ideal - everything is right out the door - grocery stores, coffee shops, fruit/veggie stand, butcher, bakery, retail and of course you're in the historic center where everything happens. We had a car so having the free parking space down the street was a huge bonus and allowed us to explore northern Portugal, including the Douro, Caminha, Aviero, Amarante, Vila da Ponte, Vila da Conde, Briterios, Sao Torcato, Braga...and more! The home is well equipped to cook, clean, wash and enjoy the great outdoors - nice patio outback, including three balonies. Best of all, Ivone's communication is prompt and her trip tips endless. She has several places to rent, so finding the right accommodation for you, your family or with friends, is possible. Our month stay was magical.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Adelaide, who was lovely. She met us the day we checked in and showed us everything we needed to know. The place was very clean and tidy. Outside had very comfortable outdoor furniture and an incredibly beautiful view - one of the best we've seen. It was extremely quiet, and at night, as you sat outside and looked at the view and the lights in the distance, it was so peaceful. We would very happily stay again. Thank you, Marivone.

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

We loved the stay! The house is cozy, well-equipped and was impeccably clean. We were greeted with dumplings and tea, a very thoughtful gesture that made all the difference on arrival. The only thing we missed was the air conditioning, especially on the hottest days. Still, we had a very positive experience and highly recommend it!

We loved Jose Mario's house. Everything was very clean and tidy, the neighborhood was very quiet, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were sparkling, lots of light, parking at the door and comfortable to see the north of Portugal. Everything you could want when you rent a house on Airbnb at a more than reasonable price. Just perfect.

Beautiful place. Very well located. There was a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, and a pharmacy all within 5 meters of the apartment. It was also right on the edge of the inner medieval quarter which had a lot of bars, cafes, and restaurants. Squeaky clean and very nice rooms. Three king beds and one room with twin beds. The room with twin beds does not have a closet or anywhere to put a suitcase but we worked that out without effort. Great place and a great price.

Amazing apartment, close to all attractions and restaurants. You can just walk to all cool places in town!

The accommodation is very spacious, well-kept and modern. Very central location and convenient to all services. Parking for the car is easily found nearby. The host was very helpful and welcomed us and explained everything very well upon our arrival. Recommended stay

Beautiful tranquil little converted farmhouse. All the amenities you need, lovely pool and very friendly dog. It is walkable to supermarket and local bars or a cab to Guimarães is very cheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful throughout.

Soraia's place is great for enjoying Braga and doing everything on foot! It is spacious and very pleasant.

Marta's house has been a very beautiful surprise which allowed us to spend one week in Braga in full relax. Both the internal and external spaces are beautiflly furnished; at the same time they are fully functional, allowing the guests to feel at home and not in a standard accomodation. We do recommend the ApGualtar apartment!

One of the best apartments we have rented through airbnb, very clean, tastefully renovated and decorated and right in the heart of historic Braga. A rare gem. Joana’s recommendations were particularly good also. Five stars!

A true haven of peace and regeneration! I had the privilege of enjoying an absolutely memorable stay in a simply wonderful place. The combination of the surrounding nature with the available amenities — swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna — provided unique moments of well-being and tranquility. It was an experience marked by peace, silence and comfort, perfect for disconnecting from the world and renewing energy. The moments together were even more special thanks to the welcoming and thoughtful atmosphere of this space. I leave with the feeling of having really rested, body and mind. A place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I undoubtedly hope to return.

The space was wonderful, and we thought that for the 4 of us it was spectacular. We were able to rest and at the same time we were about 30 minutes from some Gerês waterfalls. Great kindness on the part of those who received us and we will definitely be back!

Francisca, in addition to being extremely friendly, is super available and helps in everything that is needed. All the spaces in the house were clean and prepared to welcome us. We really enjoyed the experience, so we highly recommend it!

The house is amazing. Super nice and taking care of the details. The spacious rooms. The spectacular infinity pool and the Jacuzzi and beautiful sauna area.

The host was very helpful and friendly. The house is exceptional, has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, very beautiful surrounding area, calm and very soothing sound of running water from the outside. The site is on a hill with a pleasant landscape. I recommend it.

Elisabete was very responsive and very nice to deal with. She even allowed us to check in before the check in time The apartment was exactly how she described it. The terrace was huge!! Wonderful to have dinner outdoors. Highly recommended. I would stay there again. Irene
