Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Guadalupe River

I had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect for my visit. The location was great and made getting around easy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Came here with a group of 9 and we felt right at home. Laura had thought of everything and we did not go without! The views were amazing and the beds were very comfortable. Great location if you're looking to go tubing or to Canyon Lake. Laura was also super responsive and attentive to our needs. Only complaint is that our vacation wasn't long enough! Will absolutely be back again!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. Perfect location! Very secluded. Beautiful views. Cheryl was very responsive and got back to us immediately every time we needed anything. Her home had everything you could possibly need for a vacation. We will definitely be back to make more wonderful memories with our family.

This place is beautiful, the perfect place to come and relax with a small group. House ambiance makes you feel right at home. Kelly the host is very attentive, professional and at any time you need to reach out she is there to help out. Great experience, we enjoyed the place a lot.

This place was great for so many reasons. private access to the river, so spacious, lots of beds and stocked with anything you may need on your trip. Definitely recommend for a group that is looking to have fun and float down the river. All of the kids in our group had a blast.

Lovely home! Exactly as pictured. The availability of two homes on the same property allowed us to visit with family that we do not get to visit with often. The whole family enjoyed fishing at the catch and release pond. Even the five-year-old left with a fun memory of catching fish. Everyone enjoyed feeding the donkeys and the ducks. Bird watching was spectacular. Great location, next to the Park 31 event venue. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was exactly what we hoped for. The view alone is worth the price. The pool and the spa were amazing. As a unexpected great bonus, one of the neighbors has a kangaroo, a zebra and what sounded like a peacock as his pets. Amazing morning views seeing the animals. Great property

Great home with great views. Not only did the grandkids have a great time in the river, we adults loved it also. We will be back.

Shelly’s place was lovely and a great location! We were able to walk to get coffee, dinner, and enjoy shopping in downtown area several times and always felt safe. Her place was very clean and just like the descriptions. We would definitely stay here again!

Wow! We loved our stay here so much! Josh and Amiee were so nice, responsive and helpful! They gave great instructions on getting here and also on all check in/check out procedures. Any questions we had, they replied almost immediately. We really needed a restful getaway and this was the perfect place. We loved the pool so much and enjoyed watching all the birds especially. The place was impeccably clean and welcoming! We slept great in the adjustable bed. We had 2 smart TVs to use and the biggest selection of DVD’s we’ve ever seen. The kitchen had everything you could think of and it was so helpful to have a washer/dryer to use. Did I mention the pool? AMAZING! We plan to come back again soon! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Highly recommend. Peaceful and serene. Beautiful space. Loved the front porch with rockers and a table and chairs. High ceilings, nice interior and very comfortable beds. Loved the friendly cats. Hope we will be fortunate enough to visit again. Hosts were very helpful, warm, and gracious. Thanks for letting us stay in your cottage.

Peaceful & just what I needed for a “me treat”

by far Georgia was the best host ever so hospitable so friendly so proactive to tell me about restaurants nearby and things to do. she went out of her way to make homemade cookies to welcome her and proactively was attentive to our needs and wants. by far so clean so beautiful so peaceful I loved every little bit of the experience I had there with my daughter it truly was a beautiful experience very well worth it and we got to see deer around the property other animals on the other side of the fence it was just beautiful and breathtaking. I strongly advise and encourage people to enjoy themselves here and the bed is just comfortable like no other the bathroom Tip Top with anything you could possibly need super clean same for the kitchen sadly we were not able to take advantage of the hot tub but it was very beautiful.

We had such a great stay at Telegraph House No. 2! The house is beautiful—super comfy beds and pillows, and we loved the decor. The location couldn’t be better—we walked to almost every restaurant we went to and down to the river to float. The hosts were wonderful and made everything really easy. Highly recommend if you’re visiting New Braunfels!

Very Clean and Hospitable Environment for San Antonio and The Property was Quiet and Clean

This is our second time staying at Matt & Nikki’s place and we enjoyed it almost just as much as the first time. The condo itself is so nice and Matt & Nikki do a great job adding a lot of aesthetic touches and conveniences that make us feel right at home. Also, with easy access to the water park, the river, pools, and great restaurants, the location makes this a perfect vacation spot. I do have to mention that our vehicle was towed to San Marcos during our stay, which was unfortunate… we put the parking permit away when we went out to dinner on our last evening and forgot to put it back up when we got back the condo. When we woke up in the morning, our vehicle was gone. However, Matt was very responsive (on a Sunday) and accommodating in giving us extra time on checkout day and helping me find the information to get it sorted out. Don’t let that scare you away though. All that is just to say, take Matt & Nikki’s warnings about keeping the parking pass visible at all times seriously!

Great place with fantastic location. River access + about a half mile from Schlitterbahn East

The condo was small and cozy. Was a cute little area. Perfect spot to get into the river to begin your float. And the pool and hot tub was perfect to get into after the sun goes down.

Great spot on the Comal River. Made it easy to float, and quickly get back to the Airbnb. Communication was good, and the place was clean and the beds were comfortable. Will stay there again in the future.

This location is by far one of the best locations to be. You are in the heart of Gruene and less than a 5 min walk to get to any shop, bar, restaurant, floating venues and much more. Perfect host! She was super responsive, friendly and the instructions were easy to follow on check out. Amazing place!! Can't say enough about it.

Right on the river with several places to rent tubes across the street

Different unit but we’ve stayed at the property another time and love the location. Easy walk to downtown, Landa Park and we joined the gym Das Rec for a month, great value. Fun to watch the activity on the Comal and the golf course from your balcony. The unit itself has comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, patio had lounge chairs and a dining set, all just as shown in the listing. Saundra was great throughout the process. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed in Natalie’s place for 5 nights (Sunday-Friday) so my son could attend a camp in NB. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very quiet. I worked from the apartment while my son was at camp, and I didn’t have any trouble with the internet. The pool and large yard was perfect for children! I expected noise to be an issue because it seemed many others in the complex were there on vacation but we never heard any of the neighbors. We really enjoyed our stay and will book again next year if Natalie’s place is available!
