Location Location Location! Birkelunden is the perfect location to stay when visiting Oslo. You'll be in the heart of Grunerløkka with everything right outside the door. Shopping, restaurants, bar's, parks, supermarkets og close to the tram and bus that will take you to almost every place in Oslo within 5-15 min. Tram (11, 12, 18) and Bus (21, 30) is right outside that takes you to, Aker Brygge/Tjuvholmen, Frogner, Majorstuen, City Center. Airportbus is stopping 1.5min walk from the apartment.

Welcome to Grünerløkka! This is my favorite part of Oslo - a historic industrial area now home to trendy singles, young families, priests, poets - and parks. Centrally located, my place is quiet, bright, secluded - just a few minutes away from hundreds of local cafe's, restaurants, shops and bars. Take a stroll or break into a run along Akerselva river or in the expansive public parks nearby. Walk, bike, scooter, or ride the "trikk" to anywhere - or stay at home with a book in our backyard.

The house was beautifully appointed, clean and ready for us. Check-in via key code. Garden and patio were lovely with plenty of quality outdoor seating and BBQ. Great location in a nice and friendly neighbourhood - close to resteraunts and local shops. Public transport, which we used, was at the end of the drive. Metro a short walk away. Would fully recommend 👌

I loved staying at Frida’s place. Just about all of Oslo is walkable from there. The neighborhood is full of charming and colorful wooden houses. It’s close to nightlife yet very quiet. There’s a grocery store right across the street. The bed is comfy. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again. The only people I might not recommend this place for are anyone with mobility issues, as you have to climb a ladder to get to the loft bedroom, which I found completely charming.

We had a great stay in Sara’s apartment, Grünerløkka is cool location, 5 minutes on the tram to central Oslo, and some really nice walks around the area. The place was clean, spacious homely and very well equipped. Had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. Kitchen was nice to cook in, generally pretty quiet and peaceful considering the area could be quite bustling on the weekends. Sara was very helpful and responsive if we ever needed any thing! Straight forward, great space and area if you’re looking to be in central Oslo but just enough out the way that you can have some breathing space, lots of cool bars and cafes in Grünerløkka! Definitely would stay here again if I came back to Oslo

Diogo was an amazing host. The apartment was cozy, spotless, and warm, with soft, pampering linens that made us feel right at home. We spent two days at Nicoline's. Everything was perfect. The instructions for getting there were clear. We arrived by car and the garage is a real plus for free parking. Nicoline's apartment is very beautiful, modern, tastefully decorated and furnished, it feels very comfortable. It is ideally located, the center is easily accessible by bus, bus stop close to the apartment. Very convenient when you've been walking all day. The neighborhood is very quiet, the neighbors are quiet which is very nice. Nicoline was always very responsive to our requests, she recommended places and activities, and also allowed us to leave later than planned. There are leaflets available in the apartment, which allowed us to plan a small program for our visits. Thanks again for everything, Nicoline! We recommend Nicoline's apartment for your stay in Oslo!
