Typical dwelling partly excavated and partly built, with splendid views of the enchanted scenery of the Sassi of Matera. It is located in a pedestrian area, so it is not accessible by car, but there is a convenient paid parking lot a 2-minute walk away and free parking along the road a little further away. Close to the most important places to visit! Access to the apartments is on a comfortable ground floor but the view from the balcony of apartment number 1 is on a high floor (magic of the Sassi of Matera!)

A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. It overlooks one of the most magical squares in the city, quiet and elegant, with balconies. The stairs have handrails, but we do not recommend the place for people with limited mobility.
