This place was perfectly tranquil and made us felt right at home. The host, Shekhar, was friendly and responsive. The bathroom showers are also accessible, which is very helpful for guests with mobility issues. We also loved the thoughtful touches and amenities, like the welcome basket and the well-stocked kitchen pantry. We especially enjoyed the spacious patio overlooking the backyard and creek. To our lovely surprise, we spotted many deers on the area. The location was perfect, with easy access to Yosemite National Park! We highly recommend this listing and would love to stay here again!

Absolutely happy with our recent stay at this place! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided help needed. The home was spotless and exactly as described, if not better. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, which made making food easier and quicker. This is our second time staying at Tanya's airbnb and the location can't be beat! You can walk right down to the lake's beach (the marina) which is so convenient since parking is extremely limited. We loved using the boats (kayak, canoe, and paddle boat) & hanging out on the deck was so peaceful. Tanya was very quick to respond when we had questions which we really appreciated. The house had everything we needed and we can't wait to return.

So glad we stayed here. The game room was great! So many games and things to stay busy with activities. Nice big comfy couch where the whole family enjoyed Christmas movies. Kitchen has everything you need plus more. Closet stocked with towels. Excellent views from all around.

Great location for a week in Sonora! Only wish was if there was access without so many stairs. This is an older structure and the design is common to Sonora. We just called it cardio and still had a great trip!

We had such a great stay here! The Airbnb was very clean, tidy, cozy and exactly what we had in mind when searching for a luxurious forest cabin. We especially loved the fireplace and the huge terrace. Alexey was a great host - always responded fast, had clear instructions and checked in a few times with us if everything is in order. We would 100% recommend staying here when visiting Yosemite!

A great base to explore Yosemite - Mariposa is a cute and walkable town with everything you need (gas station, shops, restaurants). The apartment is nicely decorated with comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. Very easy and safe parking.

Had a wonderful stay! Cute and cozy apartment. Exactly what we needed for a trip centered around hiking and fishing in Yosemite. Easy to walk around the corner to restaurants and shops. Drive into Yosemite was a little over an hour from here. Would stay again!

Das Squirrels Nest war sehr schön und gemütlich, in sehr ruhiger Lage, aber trotzdem relativ zentral in Oakhurst. Ein großer Parkplatz ist direkt vorm Haus. Debra war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und bei Fragen immer schnell zu erreichen. Auch haben wir sehr viele und gute Tipps erhalten, z.B. für Restaurants in der Gegend. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen!

We had a great stay in Oakhurst! The view was absolutely stunning — a perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking. The amenities were all in good shape and made our stay very comfortable which we really appreciated after long days out in Yosemite. Just a heads-up: the drive up to the house is quite steep and winding, so be prepared for that. During our stay, there was a power cut, but Eric was very responsive and helpful in getting things sorted quickly. All in all, a great experience — would definitely recommend!

Great place very peaceful privet and quiet , the hosp very responsive , everything was clean and described accurately , the picnic area on the lake 1 min drive have BBQ area and swimming spot the water warm , if you want peaceful weekend its the right place ! Definitely recommend !

We absolutely LOVED this place & will definitely book again. Directions were right on point. The views were amazing, mother nature surrounded us and it was so relaxing. Comfy beds & the kitchen views made cooking and spending time in the kitchen all that much more fun. We brought our cornhole set up but Henry's 49er cornhole boards were in the back! Had coffee out in the back every morning to catch the beautiful sunrise over the lake and mountains. Can't say enough great things about this place. The house is located on a beautiful mountain top with complete facilities, including a children's playground, game room, etc. The kitchen utensils and seasonings are complete, making it very suitable for family gatherings and vacations. It is a half-hour drive from Yosemite.

From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in nature – spotting deer, birds, and other wildlife was a daily delight. The cozy jacuzzi under the cold Mariposa night sky was pure bliss. The house itself is a dream — spacious, immaculately maintained, and stocked with all the essentials. The master bedroom was hands down the highlight, and the beds throughout the home were incredibly comfortable. We spent our evenings enjoying the home theatre, bonding around the warm indoor fireplace, and relaxing near the outdoor fireplace by the lake — it was surreal. And let’s not forget our adorable cat companions, who truly made us feel at home. This place was the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and family time. If we could give it 10 stars, we would. Highly recommended if you are looking for jungle vibes and peace from city life!

Gina’s home was beautiful and perfect for a big family and still have your privacy. The house has plenty of space and is very secluded no and private. They do a great job at tailoring to your fur puppies and have accommodations for them. The patio is so large and has everything you need. I highly recommend to stay here for the perfect getaway!

Good place to stay for large groups & families. Close to Bass Lake and South Gate entrance of Yosemite. Lots of games available in the home for entertainment.
