Lovely house, great views, within 30 mins drive to all main south lakes sights. Communication and check in all very easy and clear. We had a great stay :)

had a lovely week away at the beautiful Dove Wing Cottage. Julia was a wonderful host and couldn't have done enough for us. She was very attentive and made us feel so welcomed. The cottage itself has been decorated so beautifully whilst still feeling very cosy and homely. The attention to detail is perfect, beautiful towels and bedding, luxurious dressing gowns and a generous welcome hamper on arrival. We really look forward to our next stay here!

We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs over the year and Crimson Cottage is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Crimson Cottage is renovated barn to a very high standard with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The cottage was beautifully clean with some lovely fresh flowers on the table. Some fresh eggs, milk, tea, coffee a tin of biscuits and box of black magic as a welcome treat. The location is perfect for a quiet get away, but close enough to explore the Lakes and coast. We had a great stay and definitely considering a return visit.

An amazing place to stay and the village is really nice. It’s not far away from things to do such as Scafell Pike, and the lakes. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to be in the countryside.
