Wir haben uns sofort in der Villa am Fluß wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal um die Attraktionen des Golden Circle zu besichtigen. Die Lage am Fluss und der Ausblick sind traumhaft, auf jeden zu empfehlen.

Our stay was truly magical. Magnús’s home is beautiful inside and out, and it's location in the Icelandic countryside is nothing short of stunning. We had to content with bad weather during our stay, and Magnús was extremely flexible in making sure we made it safely to the cabin, evening going so far as to allow us to delay our stay by a few days. A perfect getaway for my family. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was a fantastic base for us to discover many of the wonderful things that the area has to offer. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about this house. Not only was the home beautiful clean and very warm, but Vera was such a wonderful and communicative host. We traveled with our two-year-old son and she had a crib highchair and literally everything you could think of set up for a toddler so if you have kids, this is absolutely the place to go. There's even a little treehouse with a slide in the back and at night we could sit in the wonderful hot tub and see the northern lights. I would happily stay here again!!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach unseren langen Tagen,war das der perfekte Ort um Ruhe zu finden. Jóna Dísa is ausgesprochen Freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wieder kommen.

We enjoyed our stay and would return! The cabin is in a secluded neighborhood with open fields, but there is one neighboring cabin right next door. There is a relatively tall privacy fence all the way around, but if there had been guests staying next door at the same time as us, we likely would have heard some voices if they were outside too. Luckily, the neighboring cabin was unoccupied during our stay. We made great use of the hot tub and loved listening to the birds and looking at the gorgeous open fields and distant mountains. The home was clean and everything was in working order.

WOW! That is the best description of Geirthruder's place. Maybe even more perfect than the photos. A perfect location to easily check out the Golden Circle The layout of her house is great with the living area dividing the two bedroom areas. Easy entrance, over-the-top kitchen, cozy woodburning fireplace, presitine in every way.... and THE VIEW!!! And the quiet!!! We cooked a good bit, just for fun. There is an amazing food market just a few minutes away (which was a highlight of our stay), Little Farmers Market. Staying at Geirthrudur's is a must!!!

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

Jon’s place was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing! – It was very private and we very much enjoyed our stay in this cosy little cabin. Very well located in the middle of the Golden Circle with a fantastic view of the nearby mountain. It was the perfect location to explore Iceland's beautiful nature - All major attractions of the Golden Circle are reachable within 1 hour drive and with a slightly longer drive you can easily see much of the south. It felt like home from home after a long day of exploring and we loved watching the sun go down over the mountain from the deck. We were also very lucky to have a fabulous display of the northern lights at the end of April! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us for our first trip to Iceland!

Séjour parfait ! Localisation incroyable. Très calme avec une vue des plus magnifiques. Pas grand chose aux alentours mais en voiture ça se fait très vite. Merci !

this rental was so perfect it was hard to leave to go out and explore because we just wanted to be here! it was close to a lot of attractions, and not far from the airport. next time i would stay for longer because it was such a peaceful and beautiful place to just relax.

La cabaña de Kristinn ha sido sin duda alguna una de las perlas de nuestro viaje a Islandia. Una zona con mucha privacidad y en medio de la naturaleza, cerca de varios puntos de interés y de la ciudad de Selfoss. Lo hemos pasado en grande, habiendo ido con un bebé de 15 meses todo ha sido perfecto. Inolvidable la sensación de estar en nuestro jacuzzi mientras nevaba, repetiremos sin duda.

This was one of our most memorable AirBnb stays. Hjalmar’s cabin is beautiful, tranquil, and within walking distance of the lake. This cabin was great for our family of four young children, who loved the two trampolines and walking down to the lake. I’m not sure we have ever seen a host as responsive as Hjalmar - we had two questions about climate control in the cabin and the entrance gate, and he responded within a minute both times. This is a must visit if you are looking for a centrally located cabin along the golden circle and have children. We hope to return someday.

Sígrun’s place was exactly what we were looking for! We had the best welcome ever being greeted by the northern lights. The house is well equipped with everything you need. From kitchen appliances to toiletries. And the hot tub outside, is an excellent place to relax. Location is perfect. Very nice and quiet and also close to all the main attractions of the golden circle. Our farewell was also memorable with northern lights dancing for us! Some places we’d like to recommend: Sky Lagoon, Thingvellir National park (20 min drive from the house, bring good shoes, can be very slippery). Tryggvaskali restaurant, Messinn restaurant, Silfra restaurant. And of course all the other attractions around the golden circle. Thank you, Sigrún, hope to be back soon!

Dette stedet er virkelig å anbefale. Vi leide hytten med alle fasiliteter, i tre dager og hadde dette som utgangspunkt for fantastiske turer ved Den gyldne sirkel. Mange av severdighetene ligger en kort kjøretur unna. Det er en egen privat geotermisk badestamp utenfor hyttedøren, som varmes opp på ca 40 min! Overraskende! Veldig positivt når man har med barn på ferie. Positivt er restauranten som ligger ved siden av hyttene. Enkelt om man har vært på tur og ønsker et måltid. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Gemma nascosta! Cottage splendido in posizione bellissima, dotato di tutto il necessario. La vasca esterna con vista sulla vallata è una meraviglia! Host gentilissimo che ci ha accolto personalmente e molto disponibile a fornire informazioni sulla zona. Al centro del “Golden Circle”. Un ottimo ristorante nelle vicinanze (Hvönn) e numerosi maneggi. 2 ore da Landmannalaugar (imperdibile). Fidatevi, non esitate a prenotare. Senza dubbio il miglior alloggio in 3 settimane in Islanda!
