A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying with Patrizia and Antonio, without a doubt the best hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. Great location right on the lake. Wonderful amenities. Directly across from the Villette VD train stop. The house was beautiful, clean, and felt like home. The views were amazing. My husband, myself, daughter and son in law had plenty of room. It was great to be able to have a full kitchen too. Incredible trip!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a family weekend with children and the chalet was perfect, large, several bedrooms and bathroom, everyone had their own space. Very peaceful place in the middle of nature, a superb terrace and barbecue to enjoy the beautiful days, good amenities in the cottage and very clean. We recommend 100% 🙂

House had a great location, just a few minutes from the train station. The views were spectacular, I could look at the lake and those mountains all day. Lots of amenities and fun things to do at the house.

We felt very comfortable and especially enjoyed the breathtaking view of the mountains. Audrey and Vincent are very friendly hosts. The studio is super equipped, we didn't lack anything. Thank you, we will be happy to come back.

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is outstanding and is something very special. There's nothing missing here. The view of Mont Blanc from the chalet, as well as the possibility of using the many hiking trails directly from the accommodation, are spectacular. Vincent is an excellent host. I'm deliberately not using superlatives here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to staying with Vincent again in the future.

Our stay at Maria’s place was heavenly! So beautiful and inviting. The apartment was decorated beautifully and it was very comfortable. The views of the mountains were spectacular and the sound of the river was very enjoyable! Maria was so kind and attentive. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to spend my 60th birthday! The walk to the train station was a beautiful walk. Such a charming town. We would love to return one day! Thank you Maria for everything!

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

This cabin exceeded our expectations!! Surrounded by beautiful landscapes in the middle of mountains, meadows, river and a spectacular view, just looking out the window is like having a painting in front of us. In addition, the cabin is equipped with everything you need for 4 people, a beautiful kitchen, dining room, living room, comfortable bathroom... The location was perfect, as we wanted a place nestled in the mountains to be at an intermediate point (not so close or so far, we went by car) of our places of interest, such as Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald... We also spent a day and went up that same road by car, we left it at a point and walked along a marked road to climb the mountain and touch the snow, it was a wonderful experience. If you don't have your own car, buses also pass near the house, you can ask for schedules. Nicolai was always attentive to messages and Rosa, her mother, a spectacular woman, made our ❤️ stay. I recommend it 100%

What an amazing place, complete with everything you could possibly need, and the best host, Bendrie - whose warm smile and friendly demeanor invites you to feel immediately at home. Mimi the cat also helped with that. The space was more than enough for 3 couples to share, buy we were only 3 in total so we enjoyed spreading out and soaking up the views from the balconies. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend the hike to Lac Taney as well, which is conveniently on your doorstep. Also, loved the drive up and down the mountain. A perfect experience for my sister and niece to experience Switzerland for the first time. Truly unforgettable.

Comfortable apartment with great view

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. The Nordic bath is a plus. The nearby hikes are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

Very nice apartment with a lovely big living room and large windows. Well equipped, clean and tidy. A short walk to the Argentiere lifts, all important boulangerie and restaurants in the village. Justin was very helpful but not over the top. Recommended.
