BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. In the living room there is also a sofa bed on which another 2 people can be accommodated. A highlight is the private sauna in the apartment. The picturesque old town is within walking distance.

Welcome to our cottage on the Elbe dyke! Our house and the detached guest house were built in 2021. The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

Home port

We have been offering the new Heimathafen vacation apartment since March 2024. It is fully equipped and has a living room with a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom and hallway. The apartment is on the 1st floor. An outdoor seating area invites you to linger. Grevesmühlen is a quiet small town with very nice surroundings and is 10 km from the Baltic Sea. Nearby attractions include Lübeck, Travemünde, Wismar, the island of Poel, Schwerin.

This bright, air-conditioned apartment with a spacious south-facing terrace is on the 3rd floor and is reached via stairs. The furnishings are in Scandinavian style, with designer furniture, trinkets and the original plank floors. A crib and high chair are available. The old town is a few minutes' walk away, as are the Elbe-Lübeck Canal, the Wakenitz, pizzeria, bakery, weekly market, supermarket and organic shop.

This historic building is a typical North German farmhouse and is located on the edge of a small village with unobstructed views of the hilly countryside. Our 2-hectare natural property is adjacent to our own meadow behind the house, with many cozy spots under trees and by the stream. We renovated the cottage with natural materials and furnished it comfortably, e.g. with a fireplace and small sauna.
