Strand is a child-friendly, wide sandy beach with a blue flag. We are located 3 km from Gjerrild town, where there is a grocery store with a large selection, 14 km from Grenå, 19 km from Djurs Sommerland, Bønnerup harbor about 6 km, where there is a fish shop and eateries. The heat source is air to air, there is a small dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine and otherwise all the utensils that should be in a kitchen.

Take a walk across the Sangstrup cliff to Hjembæk, where you can look down into the sea and maybe the cafe is open, so you can enjoy an ice cream with a cup of coffee while you find fossils.
