This was a fantastic stable conversion and had everything we needed for a weekend away. It was very private and peaceful, located in beautiful countryside. We went to an event at Silverstone, and the location was perfect for easy access to it. Sam, our host, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, with lots of suggestions for eating out, takeaways, taxis etc. The cottage was very clean and welcoming, with original features such as the beams etc. I'd highly recommend a stay here, it's ideal!

On arrival we checked in with ease to get into the kitchen to have many different snacks, drinks and even milk in the fridge for tea. Stayed many places and little things like this makes a big difference. Will be back there in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Joanne’s cottage! It was the perfect base for Silverstone festivities and located on the high street for ease of access to village amenities. Great for the dogs too as there are lovely walks on the doorstep. Joanne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The cottage was as described but well kitted out! The snacks were a nice touch We would definitely come back when next heading to the circuit

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It had a homely comfortable feel and is exactly as described. The hosts are super nice and responsive and able to pop in if needed. Helmdon is postcard beautiful and extremely peaceful. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

I would thoroughly recommend staying in Abthorpe. Katie is a wonderful host, very welcoming and friendly. The whole place was extremely clean, warm and comfortable. Parking is easy and there were very good instructions for entry. We will definitely book again.
