Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Green County

Roger was a great host and the home is beautiful. We couldn’t find a toaster this morning but we’re in a hurry and I know if I would have asked him he would have led me to it. If there isn’t one, it’s absolutely the only thing we needed but couldn’t find. Everything labeled in the home was super helpful. Great views and deck! The absolute only drawback on space is that some of the neighbors didn’t seem thrilled we were there. We have teen boys and we were respectful and quiet, but the neighbors kept staring us down and did not seem to appreciate us being there. Fantastic house and host!

Lori's place is very cute and felt like a nice little get away from the bustle of the Maddison downtown area. It was only every 15-20 minutes from all main attractions in Maddison (by car) and in a very quiet neighborhood. Her instructions were clear and the space was clean and inviting. Overall a great stay!

Arbor Hill House is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! It was cozy, spacious, and felt so homey. We had a group of 5—two couples and a single person—and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The living room is very accommodating for big groups, with a large sectional couch, recliner, and dining table with comfy rolling chairs. And the screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather! The loft is awesome. The bed is very comfortable and the attached bath is spacious. The sauna worked wonderfully and was a favorite accommodation amongst our group! It can fit two people at a time. And the overall vibe was perfect. Very 70’s, lots of thriving plants, and warm lighting. Last but not least — Josh was the best host! Josh left thorough instructions so we would be comfortable during our stay and was very easy to get in touch with. And the home was SPOTLESS! So clean the couch had vacuum lines on the couch. Literally 10/10!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! The personal touches were outstanding! Ashley has thought of everything you would need while staying at her place!! The goats were friendly and so fun! Tigger, the welcome kitty took his job seriously!! Such an amazing place!!!

We had a really lovely stay at the Farmhouse. A wonderful old home with plenty of room to spread out and views out of every window. The kitchen is great for cooking, and everything was very comfortable. We loved driving down the country lane at the end of a busy day. Relaxing with a cup of coffee on the porch in the morning, and in the corn crib patio at night were definite highlights. Deer sightings, birdsong and fireflies were all appreciated. The hosts were very responsive and we are thankful for the stay. Our only complaint is we couldn’t spend more time there!

This is such a cute place, decorated so appropriately with lots of art! The couch is so comfy too. It is convenient to Shakerag Valley and a short walking distance to the Red Rooster for breakfast and other downtown businesses. The upstair’s bedrooms are connected so if you have a child, the other bedroom is a twin bed, that would work. If traveling with an adult friend, planning to stay in separate bedrooms, this may not work so well, since there is no hallway, making you walk thru the main bedroom to get to the stairs to get to the main floor bathroom. Stairs are numerous, but typical of Mineral Point, you got to watch where you walk in this hilly but quaint historic town. The host was excellent communicating with me, making for an easy check in, and I plan to stay here again!

This was the most at home we’ve ever felt while traveling. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable! Laura was fantastic at communicating with us and is very kind. We will stay here again if we ever make another trip up to Rockford.

Kari has a wonderful home. The basement apartment we stayed in was perfect. It was private and had a great view. It was just as described and we didn’t want for anything. Kari even helped us get set up in advance, putting out a crib and age appropriate toys for our kiddo. Checking in was simple and smooth. I would absolutely stay here again the next time we are visiting.

Sarah was a wonderful host. She helped me with things that went beyond listed amenities. The location is great. The neighborhood was very peaceful & not very far away from anything you might want to do. We had an excellent stay, would return for future stays, and highly recommend Sarah’s listing.

I stayed at Louise’s place while in Rockford for the Half Ironman, and it was absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the race start, which made things so easy on race day. The house itself is beautiful and nestled in lovely gardens, creating a peaceful, welcoming retreat. Inside, everything was incredibly clean and well-equipped. Louise kept in touch and left me a welcome note and a plate of cookies, which was such a sweet and personal touch. I was lucky enough to meet Louise’s gorgeous dogs who live in the adjoining home. They were quiet, well-behaved, and added to the charm of the whole experience. I’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
