The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this freshly converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Leaside Cottage, Great Longstone, Bakewell.

Our lovely 18th century cottage was completely renovated to the highest standard in 2016 with solid oak fittings throughout offering guests luxury and homely accommodation. The cottage easily accommodates 3 people with one double bedroom with king size bed and one spacious single bedroom. The cottage has full central heating with radiators in all rooms, and under floor heating in the kitchen. For extra cosy nights there is also a log burning stove in a Derbyshire gritstone fireplace.

Joiners Cottage, Ashford in the Water, Bakewell

Joiners Cottage is a cosy 300 year old stone built cottage situated a hundred yards away from the River Wye in this delightful village. Joiners Cottage is full of character and has been lovingly renovated to maintain the character but we have added some 21st century luxury including a log burning stove for those cosy nights in! The village has 2 pubs, and the corner shop at the end of Church Street has been in existence for over 100 years and is an outlet for many local needs.

Idyllic village location with a shop & two great pubs within walking distance. A short walk to the Monsal Trail & the perfect base to visit Derbyshires fine country estates.

It’s a great base for walkers with plenty of walks from your doorstep. The cottage is in a town location - If you are looking to be in the countryside - this is not for you. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

A beautiful, recently converted barn which was originally the Groom's Cottage. Newly renovated in 2018 this one bed, one bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' fields to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Parking is like gold dust in Bakewell - here, you have the reassurance of ample off road parking, right outside the cottage! Bakewell’s amenities just a short walk down the hill. Nestled in a conservation area, with Chatsworth a short drive away, we offer a warm welcome to guests from all backgrounds.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.

Black Swan Cottage

This lovely cottage dates back to 1570 and is thought to be the oldest in the village. It is Grade 2 listed and has a wealth of beams and character. There is a great log fire in the cosy sitting room for those long winter nights. You can begin many walks into Derbyshire countryside from the door and plenty of pubs are within walking distance. The River Wye runs through the village - perfect for cooling that bottle of wine.
