Cottage in North Yorkshire

SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

Amazing location, easy walk up onto the moors or into Rosedale along the river valley. Beautifully restored and fitted out. Everything tool you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. Peaceful seating area out the back and we loved seeing the rabbits and hearing the owls.

The Barn at Noelle's Cottages

SuzanneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Barn. The property was immaculate, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The garden as well as the house was spacious and both felt very private and tastefully appointed and allowed us a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring this part of North Yorkshire where there is so much to see and do.

Riverside 3 bed inside North York Moors Park

JacquiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely place in beautiful quiet Sinnington. Gorgeous views along the river (nice to sit on the terrace with a drink in the evening), and lots of lovely walks nearby. The pub in town is lovely, and the nearby riding school has great hacking. Kirkbymoorside has a supermarket and garage (about 2 miles away) and everything North Yorkshire has to offer is within easy driving distance. Jonathan is a great host - super responsive - and the house was spot on. We had everything we needed for a family of two adults and two teenagers (included the ever helpful second loo and washing machine!). All in all highly recommended.

Fuchsia Cottage- a cosy getaway

MartynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely time at Fuschia Cottage. It felt welcoming and cosy. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped and the milk, tea and coffee were welcome. Maybe the addition of some salt and pepper would be good but this is the only suggestion. Kirkbymoorside is very well placed for the coast and the North York Moors. Overall a fantastic stay. We will be back, Im sure.

A sign reading 'Fir Tree Farm' is embedded in a stone structure. Surrounding the sign, daffodils bloom amidst lush green grass, adding a touch of natural beauty to the entrance. A wooden fence frames the scene, extending to a distant field under a cloudy sky.

Barn conversion on farm - sleeps 4

MartinRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A wonderful place to stay. It was superbly equiped and spotlessly clean with a quality kitchen and shower room. A wonderful location and a good base for touring the North Yorkshire moors. John and Maxine were excellent friendly hosts and they brought freshly baked bread and eggs to us shortly after we arrived. They were both delicious. Both the chickens and Bobby the dog were very friendly and often came over to visit us. We had an owl nesting in the adjacent barn and a hare scamper in front of the patio doors. The property is very secluded away from the main house. We would definately return.

Maltkiln House Annexe North Yorkshire moors

KevinRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We needed to have a few days away and last year we enjoyed visiting Whitby, Scarborough and other surroundings when travelling the east coast of Scotland and England. We decided to travel to The North York Moors and Laura's place was perfectly suited for us. The House was nice and cosy, well designed for a small family like ours and the location was the heavenly ideal countryside we wanted to stay for a few days. Laura's house is ideal for those who like the quiet life of the countryside and the surrounding sounds of all the animals that come with it. We commuted easily enough to the destinations we wanted to visit. Laura was a good host to us and gave us space, a very friendly host. We will Definitely try get to Urra again and see if the Maltkiln House Annex is available for a longer stay. Thanks for having us and all the best. The Scottish Family from Airth.

Exceptional Levisham House, West View Mews

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent 2 nights here and it was everything we needed. The house is done to a beautiful specification, it was beautiful furnished and decorated. The house was very close to the local town, meaning we only had a 5 minute walk for restaurants, pubs, takeaways, cafes and shops! It was perfect for what we needed and would absolutely stay again.
