what a wonderful stay in a beautiful little chalet, warm and comfortable with absolutely everything we needed. the proximity to the lake was fabulous and the garden and bird song was so beautiful. absolutely lovely and would stay again anytime. I highly recommend this place to anyone its fantastic

I stayed at Mark's incredible chalet for 4 weeks, and I couldn't be happier with the unforgettable experience. The location is even beyond what's described: the view of the Alps and the Rhone valley is so glorious it'll leave you breathless on a daily basis. So many properties emphasize a great view, but this is one of those rare times when reality is even better! The chalet itself is situated in a very quiet area and the house is virtually soundproof. Even with all the windows open, you'll rarely hear anything but the birds and the breeze. The chalet is very clean and modern, and the kitchen is a special treat -- experienced cooks will love it, nothing is lacking. It's also close to almost everything in Crans-Montana. Mark is a fantastic host. He was quick to answer all my questions, gave me recommendations, and was very easy and reasonable. That's a huge plus for any traveler. Overall, this was a memorable trip, due in large part to one of the best properties you will EVER rent.

Notre semaine chez Thierry s'est très bien passée avec un très bel acceuil et un départ flexible (vendredi soir au lieu de samedi) Un logement très cosy en plein centre d'Abondance avec la supérette à 5 minutes à pied et une très bonne boulangerie aussi à proximité (franco-suisse), beaucoup de randonnées accessibles directement depuis le logement et beaucoup d'itinéraires sympas à vélo Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour nous reviendrons avec plaisir !!

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

I can’t say enough nice things about Eric’s home! It is so close to the train station you can walk to / from with large luggage. The view is stunning, the house is pristine, and he has thought of absolutely everything and more than a guest would need. Everything is labeled and organized and I was impressed. He was so great to deal with and incredibly generous with his things (binoculars, chargers, phone, etc) I would say this is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at.

Nous avons passé un weekend en famille avec enfants et le chalet était parfait, grand, plusieurs chambres et salle de bain, tout le monde avait son espace. Endroit très paisible au milieu de la nature, une superbe terrasse et barbecue pour profiter des beaux jours, de bons équipements dans le chalet et très propre. Nous recommandons à 100% 🙂

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met onze dochter van 2 jaar. De tips die Marc heeft verzameld op zijn airbnb pagina zijn top. We hebben 2 prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. Huisje is voorzien van alle gemakken en heerlijk privé. En dan dat uitzicht!!

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

Perfect place for a group of people who want to go for a hike and relax afterwards. The view from the house is beautiful and the house has everything you need.

A great place for 2 families, or for a larger group, has everything you need and more! Fantastic views, peaceful surrounding and enough space to enjoy and relax. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend her place.

We had a fabulous stay and loved the beautiful village and surrounding mountains. We had an excellent time hiking, sledding and building snowmen. The home was wonderfully cosy and quiet.

Excellent séjour au chalet Gilbert, un panorama exceptionnel, Gib est un hôte génial, il est réactif et donne de bons conseils. Je recommande fortement. Une totale déconnexion, ça fait un bien fou. Le jacuzzi et le sauna est idéal après une bonne journée

Our stay at this stunning Airbnb in Iseltwald, Switzerland, was nothing short of magical! The location is breathtaking, nestled right by Lake Brienz with picture-perfect views that made every moment feel like a postcard. The home itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was absolutely exceptional, going above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. From thoughtful touches like local tips and a warm welcome to accommodating our needs with such care, they truly elevated our experience. The highlight was the incredible boat ride they arranged on the lake—gliding across the turquoise waters surrounded by mountains was a memory we’ll cherish forever. Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

Un séjour parfait, au calme, au pied du lac. Le cadre est magnifique et le logement est super. Très agréable. Albane est très réactive et disponible. Je garde le lieu en mémoire pour y revenir !

Toll gelegene Unterkunft, kulturell schöner Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Très bel environnement, entre le lac et un vraiment beau massif. Le chalet dispose d'un beau terrain, vaste, très agréable par beau temps. Quant au chalet en lui même, pas de surprise par rapport à l'annonce, si ce n'est que la chambre avec les 2 lits simples ne dispose pas de porte pleine. Elle est séparée du couloir par des battants, l'encadrement étant trop étroit pour y installer une porte. Cela ne nous a pas gêné, mais nous a surpris.

Charmante Unterkunft an toller Lage. Alles Nötige vorhanden. Ideal zum entspannen und ausschalten. Die Region bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge, Aktivitäten, Spazieren und Essen. Angenehmer Camping mit freundlichen Bewohnenden und hilfsbereitem Personal. Für uns als Familie mit zwei Kindern ideal! Auch die Nähe zum See haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen. Franziska war jederzeit erreichbar und unterstützend in allen Belangen. Top! Es war toll, vielen Dank.
