Tiny house vacation rentals in Grand Union Canal

This is the third time I've stayed in Katherine's 'shepherd's hut'. It is a beautifully situated, cosy and peaceful retreat from which to explore Oxford. Katherine is a great host, friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. I'm sure I'll be back for a fourth time soon.

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely lovely, we are definitely going back! Lynden was so lovely and gave clear instructions that made finding eveything so easy, love our tour of the farm and feeding all the animals that were so friendly! The room was really nice and decorated so beautifully & really appreciated the complimentary snacks. We loved the hot tub, lighting the fire for our marshmallows, and how close the animals got to us! Was a lovely place to stay felt so at home and welcomed, would define my recommend :)

I was arriving late and Chris met me at the main road so I could follow him to the place. He was great, he showed me the access and details of the place and left me to it. He brought logs over for the fireplace which was great as I hasd't bought any. The place is small but you have what you need. Room was warm and cosy and the setting is just amazing. if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of daily life...this is the place to come. There is another Lodge across the other side of the lake but not close enough to disturb your privacy or in view of each other. I went to Market Harborough which is the nearest town..they have some fantastic restaurants and cafes and bars...plus a waitrose,.aldi etc just 10 to 12 mins drive away. You are very secluded at the Lodge..you are immersed in the countryside so great walks and views plus you see lots of wildlife around you. I will definitely be visiting again

Can’t fault this dear little cabin - spotlessly clean, dreamily comfortable bed and super quiet with the bonus of a lovely continental breakfast brought to the door. All you could wish for, and good value too. Highly recommended.

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Was a perfect stay for me and my husband for the weekend. A nice getaway for a break and alone time. The lodge is on a lovely farm with lambs near by. Surrounded by peaceful settings with a town nearby for restaurants and shopping. David was a great host, although we didn’t need any help as the airbnb was perfect!

We had a lovely stay in the shepherds huts with our daughter. She loved the bunk beds to sleep in and enjoyed the camping like experience. We played scrabble in the evenings in the kitchen and she had lots of fun doing lots of handstands on the grass out the front of the huts! We then had a lovely walk along the foot path just down the road. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something wholesome.

What a find!- beautiful, dog friendly and well equipped, cosy Pods in a stunning setting! Friendly welcome, everything and more that you could want for a relaxing break- stunning scenery- excellent food at local pub lovely walks, would definitely love to go back!

What an absolute find!!!! The place is better than the photos! Clear instructions to arrive and get in. Uber responsive host. And an absolutely dream place to stay. (Booked for friends)

Host was responsive and very amenable. Couldn't have been more helpful during our stay but we still had our privacy. Immaculate and homely accommodation with everything we needed. Lots of well thought out small touches like milk, ice, fully working TV with plenty of channels, and even some dog treats and a bit of food had we forgotten anything. We had a busy weekend at an event and it was sublime to return to Little Welcroft.

Graham and Alison were fantastic hosts. Graham sent traffic notifications on our journey to the property, whilst Alison warmly welcomed us on arrival. We received a thorough introduction to the lodge, which was well equipped with all the little extras, along with complimentary food and snacks. The hot tub was meticulously clean and located by Grand Union Canal, so frequent waves and champagne toasts from the canal boats as we relaxed in the hot tub gave us a wonderful sense of 'living-the-life'! The surroundings were beautifully tranquil, harnessing natural habitat and wild flowered fields. Truly stunning! Graham and Alison..... you thought of everything and we look forward to our next stay. P.s The HayGate Honey is a must!!!

The POD was amazing a home from home. Everything you want from your stay, clean, tidy and peaceful. It’s well equipped and has an amazing shower and bathroom plus the bed is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here for a short stay or long stay a perfect host and accommodation.

Stunning little place. Surrounded by beautiful views, horses and sheep 😊 Ruth was a great host, very polite and welcoming. Great for a night or two away to get out of the rushed world of today. Would definitely stay again

We had such a lovely time! Such a beautiful place to spend a few nights. The garden is absolutely stunning and the space was cosy and warm. Libby was a fantastic host. Would absolutely come and visit again!!

The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication super easy. Really lovely cabin, well looked after and very clean. Host was very helpful and pleasant. As others have written, the cabin is located near the house and not quite in the middle of the woods as expected, but hosts fully respected privacy and we only saw them on arrival. Toilet is a little cramped but otherwise everything was perfect. A really lovely stay

Perfect for a work night stopover. It is a beautifully designed cabin with great attention to detail. It was immaculately clean and had everything I needed. Communication was perfect and the cabin was easy to find. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Absolutely amazing Air B&B experience. Christina and her husband were the loveliest hosts. They offered to pick up my partner and I from the train station, and then held our bags for us hours before check in, so we could go out and explore the city. They were so kind and generous. The B&B itself was so comfortable and well stocked, everything we could have needed. In a lovely location, quiet, and only a short trip into the city. St. Albans itself is very beautiful. A city so close London, but with a market-town charm and feel. I would definitely come back to Christina's B&B and would highly recommend.

My husband and I had the best stay. We found the cabin very comfortable. We also felt that where the cabin was located was beautiful. It’s in the middle of an orchard. We also thought the fresh eggs and the access to cider and apple juice was such a great touch. We felt so relaxed and will definitely come back or recommend this to people we know. Communication was great and their afternoon tea was beautifully organised. Thank you so much Eddie and team!

Great stay here! Andrew and Oey were very responsive and accommodating and the Thai food was amazing!
