Catherine was a wonderful host. Breakfast was great and Catherine went over and beyond to accommodate, including preparing a delicious early breakfast. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

Lovely quiet two night stay in Orlaith's cottage. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, with lots of walks and things to do around. Orlaith (and Buddy the dog) were extremely welcoming and helpful. The cottage is a great size and has everything you need.

Ann's place was beautiful. A nice little apartment on the quiet main strip of town. We were very happy with our stay and Ann was very responsive to messages and flexible with times. The local inn was great for dinner and the surrounding area was really nice. We would definitely recommend Ann's place to anyone wanting to check out County Kildare!

Teresa was very responsive with any questions we asked. She also was happy to provide suggestions on what to do around the area and during the stay. We had a small hiccup with the hot water and she was quickly able to help us. Extremely friendly. The place is cozy & comfy. The surroundings are breathtaking. Very private, quiet & beautiful. We had everything we needed for our 10-day stay. Would definitely visit again.

Unique 19th century hideaway in Wicklow Mountains

KeithRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Anja was a brilliant host, communicating clearly and proactively about everything, showing us around the cabin and explaining everything perfectly and cheerfully, making us feel right at home. The cabin was exactly as described, spacious, clean, and cosy. And the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean, it even had amenities like a blender and an ironing board which is way above what you’d usually expect. The bed and couch were comfy and the fire made any colder nights cosy and warm. There were extra blankets and towels already at hand. We had a lovely time staying in the Wicklow mountains. The cabin and surrounding area was beautiful and idyllic, with sheep and lambs playing in the nearby fields and a breathtaking view of the mountains. We took advantage of the location to drive to Glendalough, Blessington, and Russborough House and enjoy the local history and food. All in all a perfect trip, and we look forward to coming back again :)
