Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Gourbeyre

A big thank you to Michelle who welcomed us warmly. There were lots of small touches in the accommodation and we felt comfortable there as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is very well-equipped in the kitchen, which is a big plus. Perfectly located 15 minutes from the Yellow Baths, so no stress for our excursion to La Soufriere at 7:30 a.m. the next morning. The only downsides that aren't really a downside is that we would have liked the mosquito net above the bed as seen in the photos (but everything was provided for prevention) and no possibility of taking a walk in the evening without the car. I highly recommend this accommodation, you will be very happy!

Ideally located accommodation and is as described with a large, very nice terrace from which you can see Les Saintes. We had a great time at Sébastien and his family's place. He is a very welcoming, warm and communicative host who gave us good advice. We will not forget the excellent fruits of the garden that he was kind enough to offer us and the charming companions Nougat the dog and the cat who kept us company during our evenings on the terrace but always with discretion. We would definitely recommend it.

We had a great time, the accommodation is really nice with a beautiful garden, we felt like we were staying in the forest! Patrice is a welcoming and accommodating host, he explained everything there was to visit. The place was comfortable for us! I would recommend it without hesitating

Great welcome. Host very sweet and very kind. Excellent accommodation facilities and the private pool is great! All very clean. There were 5 of us and we were treated to welcome accras! We recommend the accommodation.

Michel is great. The place is built by people not corporations, it's their old family home and so has a soul and characterl. It's right on the beach and there's a nice bar at walking distance. A volcano, waterfalls and more beaches are all around the corner and a short drive away. The rooms all have AC, mosquito nets, warm water, stove, internet, you can use the washing machine, everything you need. During my stay I had a broken leg and Michel was always ready and eager to help with anything. The whole family lives around, so in case of anything they're always there. Good vibes 🤙🏼🌊☀️💛

Thanks to Christian for hosting us! The listing was great and as described. Christian was very invested and attentive to our needs. Gardener by profession, he showed us around his garden and gave us many explanations about the local plants (vanilla, banana, maracudja, etc.) We also had the opportunity to end the stay by sharing an aperitif with him. In short, pleasant accommodation and a more than friendly host! Florian and I apologize for leaving quickly without taking the time to really say goodbye.

Really satisfied with the service...very generous with the welcome products...the place is ideal to arrive the day before and hike very early in the morning without the constraint of the road...it's on the Soufriere...great...

Our best Airbnb experience! Guy offers more than just a place to stay. This is not the usual key box, or a simple key handover with the owner. This is about human contact, exchange and sharing. Guy invented a concept all by himself! He offers his accommodation to be able to share with you his know-how, his know-how, and his knowledge on various fields, (cocoa, coffee, cooking...) But don't think it's intrusive and that it's waiting for you to come back behind the window! This is not the case. Everything is natural, and if you don't want to communicate, just don't. It's a kind of mini Terre Inconnu, at the end of the stay, we're very sad to leave!

Nadine is a very pleasant host and cares about the well-being of her guests. The accommodation is very well equipped and very clean. The geographical location is very good for walking on Basse Terre (Soufrière, Gallion, Bain des Amours, Bassin Bleu, etc.) or going to Saintes for a day.

We spent two and a half months and it was a really great vacation. The place is in a good location and the accommodation is good. I'd definitely go back.

Super small studio perfect for one night or more! The accommodation was clean and the directions very clear. The only small problem was the wifi which did not work at the top! But that doesn't stop us from having a great stay at Catherine's and we would recommend this place without hesitation!

Ideal for discovering the surroundings of Malendure the welcome was great and the accommodation was great and very functional. The marine photos that adorn the interior are superb. A real little cocoon!

A friendly host and a really nice flat. We felt super well spending evenings and mornings at the terrace, looking to the yacht harbour and enjoying the great weather. Bénédicte was so kind to search twice for the e-reader I thought I had left behind in the flat (which I had with myself).

Axelle was charming, pleasant and helpful. She made every effort to communicate with us english speakers. She spoke english well but not perfectly....we managed fine with our limited french and much graciousness on both sides. We were charmed by the area....many beautiful beaches...we went to the maison de cocoa , and into the rainforest. The accomodations were basic but comfortable...we had everything we needed. We took advantage of her offer to provide our first dinner...chicken colombe...a typical creole dish...yummy. We would be happy to return here!

I liked Joelle's place a lot. Everything you need is available and the view is just great. The surrounding area is also very beautiful. I booked my next stays with her directly.

Philippe and his wife are extremely charming, welcoming and really attentive hosts. Very concerned about the well-being of these hosts. We were able to count on them throughout our stay. Small homemade coconut ice cream upon arrival. What more could you ask for? We're so grateful for this first experience in Guadeloupe. And of course we will be back…

After two weeks of "nature" in Dominica, Celia and Jerome's accommodation was perfect for the working time of the trip. Perfect location with the beach opposite. Perfect in amenities… there is everything Perfect access: the bottom of the fort allows you to radiate on Basse-Terre, Grande-Terre and on the north-south axis of Pointe-à-Pitre. Perfect in the responsiveness of the hosts. Perfect for the tranquility of the residence. One huge drawback!!!! You have to leave this interlude of life one day and return to reality.

We had a pleasant stay. The accommodation is clean and functional. The sea view balcony is a real plus for breakfast in the morning.

We arrived delighted by the place, after 1 week wandering / crisscrossing Deshaies and more broadly the whole island of Basse-Terre, it is with a heavy heart that we left this magical place. Hiking, waterfalls, snorkeling, cocooning, paradisiacal beaches... There is something for everyone and the accommodation will meet all your expectations. ❤️
