Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Our accommodation with an equipped kitchen is reserved for you. It overlooks the Pont du Diable, and has exceptional views of our authentic landscapes. I would bring you a breakfast tray with fruit juice and homemade jam, bread, croissant, fruit and yogurt. Earth, a room with accents from elsewhere. Close your eyes and travel, you are in Africa, Australia or..., carried away by your dreams and imagination. Rest, the place is quiet and nature welcomes you. Your terrace is private as well as the shower room and toilet. The bed is queen size (160), sheets and towels are provided. If you want a hot drink, a kettle is at your disposal. Breakfast by reservation will be served between 7am and 10am.

Breakfast included with homemade jams. Bedroom with independent entrance. Private bathroom and toilet located in a detached house in a residential area. We offer the possibility of using our kitchen and of course access to the pool during the summer and the garden all year round. We also provide a crib and high chair. The same applies to our washing machine and dryer.

Stream cottage.

The Gite du Ruisseau is located in an isolated farmhouse in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. It consists of three different places: A main room. Kitchen and living room, a relaxation office room and a bedroom. A door gives access to the private terrace. You also have access to other terraces to share, as well as the stream where you can cool off.

Le Massanou is a former silk mill, 3 km from Anduze, "the gateway to the Cévennes"... Mountains of things to do in our beautiful region! Pétanque? Foosball, darts, billiards?? Or you can choose to bask in a hammock or by our small pool, listening to the birds and cicadas!
