We are conveniently located for nature preserves, state parks, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, and Mackinaw City / Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

We loved our time at Lauren’s home. It was picturesque, both with the location along Lake Michigan and the fall colors. It was peaceful and secluded, and very relaxing to walk our dog along the lake multiple times per day. Despite its seclusion it was conveniently close to downtown Harbor Springs and one of our favorite places, Pond Hill Farm. Lauren was friendly and responsive, an excellent host. The home itself was beautiful and well equipped for a living space. We could not have asked for a better location, and we hope to be back again soon!

"Deer Path Lodge" Custom Log Cabin

Rustic, private and peaceful retreat. No outside distractions only nature. The half mile Loop was great for walking our dogs and we did it every day. We were halfway between Mackinaw City and Petoskey. Both were great to visit and walk the dogs. We found parks and trails all around to hike and enjoy.
