Amazing escape from the busy world. We loved the calm environment at the bothy and the wildlife in the surroundings. Spending some days without permanent electricity and cooking on the Rayburn was a great experience to slow down during holidays

Coastal Penthouse - 2 BED - Sea Views

C.K.Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Penthouse was exactly as described. It was clean, the view is amazing, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were spotless. The decor was modern and fresh-well done. To open the sliding doors and listen to the waves crashing on the beach is spectacular. The Penthouse is less than 5 minutes from the beach. The Penthouse comes with binoculars-we were able to spot a seal and dolphins from the balcony. We found plenty of things to do- walking on the beach either toward Chanory Point, the Sea Cave or Fairy Glen. Our host, was very friendly and informative. He responded quickly when we asked a question. Check in was very easy and parking was convenient. I would not let the drive from Inverness deter you. It was only 30 minutes from Inverness but a world away. Peaceful and quiet. The drive was not bad, that is coming from an American driver-driving on the left and a manual car. The drive was scenic and actually quite fun.

The Deer Hide

Claire is a kind and generous host. Her recommendations of the neighborhood were incredible. She looked up restaurant and sightseeing recommendations for us and checked on our comfort. The place can feel cozy and every single drawer is full of well thought utilities. We would certainly come back.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stephen’s zen lodge was an absolute gem. We had an incredible night here , the lodge is beautiful as are the surrounds , so cosy and Stephen has clearly gone to a lot of effort in making a folio he left us full of recommendations of things to do in the area . The whiskey, tablet and shortbread was just the icing on the cake of what was already an environment that made us feel instantly at home . Only wish we’d stayed longer . Absolutely recommend .
A rustic mobile unit stands beside a serene waterfront, adorned with signage for 'Nessie Models' and 'Nessie Hunter.' Wooden decking surrounds the structure, featuring a circular table and benches crafted from recycled materials. The backdrop showcases rolling hills under a muted sky.

Libertus Lodge. A secluded Cabin in Gorthleck.

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Al built this fabulous lodge himself, it is simply stunning inside with glorious views of the countryside from the terrace, it is a tranquil and beautiful location. So quiet and peaceful, truly relaxing, very comfortable bed and stylish interior, spotlessly clean. Al was very helpful with his knowledge of the area and made us feel very welcome indeed, nothing was too much trouble. Spotting the deer and red kites along with a hare and lots of birds was great fun. Highly recommend, this is a very special place.
