We offer a furnished convenient 1-bedroom apartment for 1-2 people south of the Thuringian Forest. Our apartment is very comfortable and also has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room is suitable for relaxing, sleeping and working. It has a cozy couch for up to 2 people. The kitchen has a rustic flair with a small table and two chairs. To the bathroom belongs a new shower, sink and a toilet. In the summer-time you can also use the terrace to enjoy the sun just outside of the apartement. In summer, you can explore countless trails in the Thuringian Forest. Unwind and enjoy in surrounding traditional pubs with traditional Thuringian and Franconian cuisine. In winter, there are many cross-country ski and skating trails. You can practice your winter sports actively or just take a relaxing walk in fresh and crispy winter air. For Cross-country skiers there is a variety of difficulties available, from simple to challenging trails. For skiers and snowboarders nearby slopes also rank from simple to challenging. At ski arena Silbersattel in Steinach, only 15 minutes drive from us, you can get the kick out of winter sports, even if you are just beginner. The area further offers the residence of Coburg (Bavaria), the Upper Main-Therme Bad Staffelstein (Bavaria) and the Meiningen Theater which are all worth a visit. Since we live next door to the apartment and are very familiar with the area, we also give you information about outdoor activities and other attractions in the area. Unsere 78 qm große Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoß des Zweifamilienhauses. Sie verfügt über zwei Zimmer und einen großzügigen Abstellraum. Das Appartement ist modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Ein Babybett steht zur Verfügung. Fahrräder können sicher im großzügigen Hausflur abgestellt werden. Neben dem Haus befindet sich ein Carport der genutzt werden kann. Die eingezäunte große Liegewiese mit Grillplatz und Sitzgelegenheiten befindet sich auf dem Grundstück hinter dem Haus.

The old Ilm cycle path and the Ilm are right on the doorstep. The new Ilm cycle path on the old railway embankment is only 300m away. This is also where pure nature begins, whether on foot or by bike. Your bike is safe in the lockable bike shed. You reached the Rennsteig after 9 km.
