Pagan was a great, responsive host and provided excellent recommendations of places to eat in Juneau. I would fully recommend her place as an excellent spot to explore Juneau and SE Alaska from. It is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood close to Cope Park and amazing trails and is just a short walk to downtown Juneau where there are great restaurants, bars and plenty more to explore.

Frankie’s room was a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and checkout was easy. She honors quiet hours so no noise complaints. She had an extra twin floor mattress and sheets/blankets so it could fit up to 3 people if you don’t mind the tight squeeze. Frankie was super friendly, giving us recommendations on hikes and restaurants nearby. My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and would absolutely recommend her home!

Charming basement apartment in a 100+ year old house, with the charm and quirks you might expect from a historic building. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen and lots of thoughtful small touches like make up wipes, bug spray (not that I needed it) and umbrellas (which I very much did need). Washer and dryer with detergent provided. I loved the bed in the nook, cozy and warm and the drapes kept it dark for sleeping. Local recommendations for restaurants were perfect. The walk up the hill is no joke but if I can do it at 70, so can you. The alternative was a bunch of stairs, which I also managed. I’d happily stay again.

Kurt’s place was great! This location is phenomenal— easy to park, easy to access, and easy to walk to ANYTHING you would want to eat. Kurt provided great input to our quandaries and was very responsive. The place is lovely, clean, complete, and secure. Be prepared with earplugs (street sounds on some nights) and eye mask (a skylight in the living room makes for a bright bedroom (loft) if that bothers you… it doesn’t me, but does the husband). I will stay here again… so don’t book on days I want!
