The cabin offers waterfront views of the Clarence Straits, whale watching, orcas, deer and Bald Eagles. The summer days are long and beautiful. It might take you a couple nights to get used to the peacefulness of Alaska. Sometimes the whales or Bald Eagles will wake you as they pass by. It all started with a trailer on a beautiful wooded, waterfront lot. Then a wind storm blew through, breaking the tops of several large trees causing them to land on our trailer. It took weeks to remove the trees and debris. It was then, we decided to move forward with our dream home. Moving the trailer to the trailer park, we then began preparing our lot and building our new home. Three years later it would become our dream, to share with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Our units are nestled in the heart of the historic community of Thorne Bay. This two bedroom getaway is centrally located right in the middle of town, but feels like you're out in the country! Our upper unit offers two bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom and a washer & dryer. There is a full bed that can accomodate 2 people and two twin beds in the loft. The loft stairs are steep and are not a good fit for small children. Lots of sunshine, privace and peace!
