Open up the sliding wall of glass to access your private patio oasis with brick and grass areas, vine covered walls, gas BBQ, fire pit, and patio seating. Kirkland Place is located less than 1 mile from Arizona State Campus near downtown Tempe, AZ. Within 1-2 mile radius you have easy access to walking/bike paths, boating, and special events at Tempe Town Lake. Shopping, dining, and entertainment at Tempe Marketplace is only a few blocks away, about 1 mile. Light rail and free Orbit shuttle route is within a few blocks. You are about 7-10 minutes driving to old town Scottsdale which is a huge draw for dining and nightlife. Consider Kirkland Place your headquarters for Cubs Spring Training which is within 2 miles. This unit is centrally located to 3 freeway exits, loop 101, 202, and the 60. Sky Harbor Airport is a quick 7-10 minute car ride away. ASU main campus, Sun Devil stadium, and downtown Mill Avenue shopping and nightlife are within a mile. Several other Spring training facilities are within about 5 miles. The Phoenix Open, public golf courses, shopping, dining, and world class hiking are not far away. Exclusive full and private access to the two bedroom two bathroom condo with private interior laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a small backyard area for private entertaining that includes a small patio set, market umbrella, fire pit, and charcoal grill. There is one assigned covered carport spot and first come first serve uncovered spots in the parking lot. The community pool is across the parking lot with 24/7 keyed access. Quiet hours for the complex starts at 10 pm. Although there is no on-site management, most of the neighbors are full time residents so please be respectful . The complex consists of all private homes with many being rentals. There is a mix of retirees, college students, and young professionals that make Casitas East home. I am available by phone, text, or email and will try to answer your questions the same day. I live only a few blocks away and can be there quickly if any problems arise. The home is in a quiet neighborhood centrally located in the valley of the sun. Arizona State University, Sun Devil Football, and the Mill Avenue shopping district are located just down the street. Perfect location for spring training with The Cubs stadium being only 2 miles away. Tempe Town Lake is within 1 mile, as well as shopping and dining at Tempe Marketplace. This is the perfect location for marathons like Ironman and Rock n Roll. Only minutes away from oldtown Scottsdale and more! Uber and Lyft are abundant. Tempe's free Orbit bus route and bus stop is a small walk from the condo and will take you to mill Avenue shopping district, football games, and Tempe Marketplace among other places. Route and maps are available online. Light rail is walkable and a few blocks from the complex at the intersection of McClintock and Apache Blvd. Bicycles and scooters are available to rent on almost every block. There is an Enterprise car rental center just down the street located on McClintock Drive if you need to rent a car. The thermostat is turned off when no one is staying at the unit. To turn on just touch the screen and it will light up. You can then turn on heat or cooling and set the temperature to your liking by pressing the up or down arrows. Please turn off when you check out, or turn up the air when not in use.

There are two bedrooms with beds and two bathrooms in the house, and works well for a group of friends, two couples, or small families. This house is situated in a landscaped oasis with plenty of indoor and outdoor amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Inside There are two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that you can use. There is one bedroom and a few closets that we use to store our stuff and those will not be available for your use, but all other spaces are yours. The living room has a flat screen TV with Netflix, Amazon TV and Hulu with fast wifi. Outside The patio allows for dining under the lights, and lounging in the hammock. Fast WiFi reaches throughout the entire place, including the outdoor patio and porch areas. Please let us know if you would like to use the gas grill. On hot Arizona days, we recommend taking a dip in the stock tank pool (closed during fall/winter). The backyard is a shared space. We also Airbnb the back guest house and you could be sharing the backyard with other guests. What a sweet and peaceful stay. Our little group had work to do and reserved Chuck's space to both work and relax. It was perfect for both, and I appreciated the great communication, all the little details, the hot tub was blissful!!, and I slept great. The place is as described (note there are stairs, etc if you have mobility issues the bedrooms are upstairs and outside is landscaped so ask questions - Chuck is a good communicator - if you have concerns). I also really like that area of central Phoenix - it is close to freeways and lots of places if you aren't familiar with Phoenix. I'd stay here again for sure :)

Thia was my second stay at Julian and Leonor's place! Very clean. Very comfortable. Nice fridge/freezer with water bottles, as well as a water cooler. We really enjoy the covered patio area as well. This is my place when I am in the area.

If you are a dog person you will not find a better place. No dog with me, but hers were absolutely great. I only needed a bed for a couple nights, but I will try to stay here when in Phoenix area. One of the best experiences staying anywhere

Our stay at this house was perfect! It’s in a great location, the outside is so fun and we loved the tiki bar. The location is close to so many things to do. All the bedrooms were great , the beds were comfortable, and four bathrooms was a huge plus. There were plenty of extra towels and pool towel which doesn’t happen very often. Mark was very responsive every time we had any questions. Great host. We will definitely rent it again!

We had a lovely time staying in this penthouse apartment. This place is so cute and so much fun. We were in town for a wedding, but couldn’t wait to get back to this place every night. We played pool and watched movies during our down time. This is my husband’s favorite airbnb to date. Also, the beds are so comfortable! We love firm mattresses and these were just right. Felt like a little oasis. Note: this is located downtown in a major city. Folks who are down on their luck may be nearby. Just treat it like any other city. Mind your business and be alert. I say that out of an abundance of caution, because we were just fine and would love to go back. It was extremely private and I felt very safe knowing I had multiple gates separating me from the world. Note re mobility: Please be aware that there is no elevator. Somehow I missed that part. We were fine but my grandmother would not have been able to make it. Read carefully!

This is my third stay with Craig and Anita. I stayed about a month each time. During each trip, 1-3 of my family members joined me at some point. We enjoyed having two bedrooms and lots of sitting space in the living room on the very comfy couches. The beds were also comfortable, linens were spotless and rotated out. They deep cleaned every other week. The kitchen has all the best appliances, like an insta pot and toaster oven. There's an iron and ironing board. I've not found a better place anywhere in town. There wasn't a speck of dust in the place, and everything we've needed was there- paper towels, bath tissue, dish liquid, dishwasher pods, etc. This is definitely my favorite place out of many states travelled in the past year! I wish all hosts were like Craig and Anita.

Top Airbnb we’ve stayed at! The condo was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home. The property has an awesome pool and convenient gas grills, perfect for relaxing. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of Old Towne, with plenty of great restaurants and walking and running paths nearby. We’ll definitely rebook Kris’s place the next time we’re in Scottsdale!
