Lakeside Cottage is beautiful, peaceful, steeped in history & easy to access once you know where it is, we drove past it 3 times lol. We were greeted with gorgeous fresh flowers in each room & a very tasty bottle of prosecco. Most Definitely will be going back at some point in the near future & can't recommend it enough as a quiet getaway - listening to the river Ayr was blissful!!

we visited to go to a wedding locally, so did not get to see to much of the local sites, but our stay was very comfortable and very pleased with the cottage as the weather meant we spent more time inside than we had planned. well done on providing such a nice cottage.

Beautiful home, very spacious and plenty of amenities. felt right at home! perfect for toddlers too. Ian was great, very helpful and easily contactable.

Beautiful location for a lovely farm stay, great views from the hot tub! Loved being able to watch the cows and sheep. Claire was lovely and was ready to help at any moment despite us arriving so late at night! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Lovely cottage. You would never be able to tell that pets are allowed as it’s so clean and smells lovely. Garden is lovely and private, and cottage is so cosy. Sofa and beds are very comfy too. Has everything needed for a weekend away . Will definitely return if welcome.

Teapot Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It was very well kitted out, decorated very nicely, and had lots of nice touches to make our stay even better. Lammisa was a great host - very responsive and friendly, and was happy to help whenever needed. There's great local amenities within walking distance, and several local villages and towns within a short drive, including Ennerdale Lake. The place was very comfortable, with plenty of seating indoor and out, with several comfy beds suitable for a group of adults. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has very little storage space, so if you're staying for a few days and have a large bag/suitcase - you'll need to find somewhere else to put it! Overall - we were all very pleased with this stay and we'd definitely book again in future.

We had a fantastic stay here while visiting friends in the lakes! Place was really cosy and homely and the location was very peaceful and gave some lovely views too.

This is a really lovely apartment, convenient for exploring the Lake District. It's a good size, a lovely balcony to get afternoon sun and a nicely equipped kitchen. Claire is a great communicator. She left us some milk, biscuits and some fantastic sourdough bread which she bakes herself. We bought some from her for the rest of our trip! Absolutely delicious!!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. This was our third stay - the cottage is perfect for our family of four plus a dog. Despite some wet weather, we happily filled a week with swims in the loch/play on the boats, lovely walks around the farm tracks, biking at the nearby bike tracks, visiting waterfalls and castles. The cottage had everything we needed, it was very spacious and the lovely log burner kept us cosy on the cool evenings. Joe and Sue were both super helpful hosts, making us feel very welcome, and we would definitely like to stay again.

Great stay in the cottage. Everything was as described. We stayed as a base for Silloth Parkrun which it was super handy for.

We had a fantastic stay. The property had plenty of room for our small family and dog. The location is so picturesque, we wish we didn't have to leave. There's beautiful walks to be had nearby and the drive out to the nearest villages or towns are quiet and stunning. Amber and Chris were very responsive and gave us loads of ideas for things to do. We would highly recommend visiting, and I'm sure we'll be back in the future. Thank you for being such great hosts.

Alison is a delightful lady. So kind and helpful. Her cottage ( we stayed in Jemima Puddleduck) was very comfortable. Beds and pullows especially and all spotlessly clean. All we needed was provided Alison had thought of everything. We had a fantastic week. Thank you.

Our stay could not have been better. Although ephemeral to our visit the only thing that could have made our stay easier would have been the presence of a dishwasher. Of course this does not in any way detract from a property which has been set up perfectly by Victoria, for the enjoyment of her visitors. The sort of place you would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone interested in visiting this fascinating area on the Cumbrian/Northumberland border.

House very clean and well decorated we saw 3 spiders in house but then we were in the countryside and simply removed them. WiFi password had been erased from rooter but contacted Lois who very quickly sorted that. All in all a beautiful village a beautiful home and a fantastic stay. Would love to go back one day

This is a great place for a larger group that want some peace for a private celebration as we did. Downstairs bedroom was great for my Aunt who struggles with stairs. Plenty space for everyone in bedrooms. Lovely garden, beautiful village, great walks with stunning surroundings and lots of stuff to do around the area for all ages. Had everything we needed and was nice that there was a large selection of books, movies and plenty toys for the kids. Host was flexible with check in as we all arrived at different times and flexible for check out too. Facilities were as described and we wanted for nothing. Its been said that some decor could be updated but we thought it added to the character and charm of the property and the price was certainly fair. We had an issue with the water being a bit hot and the response was super quick. Great little stay and we all feel better for having a weekend in such peaceful surroundings.

Had a great couple of days at Strawberry Cottage. The place was clean, cosy, and had all the amenities we could need. The location was fantastic - only a very short walk into Keswick Town Centre. Would highly recommend.

Accommodation was booked for colleagues for business purposes. Everything was exactly as described and suited out needs perfectly. Very friendly host and communicative hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Rosewall cottage. Beautiful cottage in a lovely village with lots of easy walks surrounding the old Abbey. Our host Tina provided a lovely clean, well stocked and equipped place for us to stay and couldn’t have been more helpful. We would definitely love to return.

Our break at Alhambra Cottage was just what we hoped for. The location to the town with amazing restaurants, cafes and shops close by was great and being so close to Derwent Water meant we barely had to use our car. We also had a lovely evening at the beautiful cinema just across the road. The cottage had everything we needed, and was very comfortable with clear information for appliances etc. we would definitely stay here again. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at The Place. The location is breathtaking, and the house itself is perfect - every detail is beautiful and well thought-out, and Lucy had provided anything one could think of. Everything was of very high quality, from the bed linen and towels to the kitchen equipment. We were all adults, but if you have children, there are lots of toys, games, and activities, so that even on rainy days, there is plenty to do. Great walks nearby, perfect both for those who like hills and those who prefer flatter ground - Buttermere and Crummock are wonderful low ground walks, and of course the walk though Holme Woods to the Kirkstile is lovely. We really enjoyed our stay at Joanne's Cottage. Unfortunately, we were only here for 3 nights, but we felt right at home. The cottage is cozy and very clean, you can feel the heart and soul of the landlords.

A fantastic option for our week in the Lake District. Conveniently situated, spotlessly clean and well equipped. A very comfortable place that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.
