We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Peaceful rural area with some nice walks and local wildlife around. The pool and jacuzzi were also super clean and a great addition. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fabulous stay at The Broch. The accommodation is immaculate and has everything you need. David was on hand to answer any queries and got back to us immediately when questions asked. The swimming pool was amazing also and our little boy absolutely loved it - fab that you get slots to yourself. The only thing we would suggest was possibly blinds in the living/bedroom area. Because the building is all glass, it’s was uncomfortably warm inside and it was quite difficult to sleep! Minor thing for such a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning with the rest of our family. Highly recommend and well worth the money.

A fabulous lodge on a great site. So comfortable with everything you could want. Beautiful bedding and towels. Great showers. Lovely 5 ring cooker and plenty pits and pans. Tanya was great leading up to the visit making sure we had all the info we needed. Very responsive when we had one or two questions. The only minor issue we had is that there is no terrestial tv due to location. We had to use apps on our phone. Highly recommended.

This was another very pleasant, peaceful and beautiful stay of many, while working on a project in Aberdeenshire. I finally had the chance to swim in their private pool on the estate due to my work load, and it was a soothing relaxing evening. The bird song is a wonderful way to wake up in their cosy bed and warm cottage. Thank you again. Matilda and brown dog.

We had a lovely stay. The nature surrounding the property was beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was cozy and well equipped. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thats looking for a relaxing nature getaway.

I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.

We absolutely loved it. Spotlessly clean and so tastefully furnished. Particularly enjoyed the sunny conservatory . Would love to come back and will be recommending to friends and family.

We were looking for a chilled break which also met our dog’s needs. The cottage is in a spectacular location, facing the sea with the coastal path right at the bottom of the garden. You do need a car to access this property which sits at the end of a single track lane, adjacent to the A92. The cottage was spotlessly clean, homely and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the enclosed garden area. The coastal path walk to Johnshaven is very pretty and only takes around 30-40 minutes where there is a pub/restaurant serving great food, excellent cafe..”Hidden treasures” and a lovely gift shop, the Starfish Studio, as well as the harbour. Claire gave us some very useful advice about other dog friendly eating venues around the area including Charlton Farm and Picsnax at St Cyrus nature reserve/beach. St Cyrus beach is stunning and is a must visit. We plan to return soon ..so much to see!

Had a lovely few days at this AirBNB! The town is sleepy when the day trippers are away and the locals are friendly. The rental was clean, spacious, and exactly the break we needed. One thing to note is there are quite a few stairs to the main floor and second floor. We had someone with us that had some issues due to a hurt leg. Other than that, 10/10 stay and would highly recommend to anyone! View is outstanding to sip a cup a tea and people watch. Also within a few steps to the Falkland Palace and the Falkland Estate which allowed us a day off from driving.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Denfield. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with a beautiful outside sitting area and view across the fields to the sea. Shirley and John, the hosts, were great. Communication was excellent and they checked in with us during our stay to ensure that everything was ok. They also provided a tasty starter pack for us including the most delicious local strawberries. Our group included a small dog and my Mum who has mobility issues. However, the house was well set up for her, with a large downstairs bedroom and en suite/jack & jill bathroom. The dog was also made welcome, with treats and a Mud Daddy portable shower unit for those wash downs after the beach walks! I would not hesitate to recommend this house and would visit again. Thank you Shirley and John for such a great stay!

39 Fountainhall Rd was so beautiful. Every touch and detail was done with purpose. The home was very clean and the amount of sunlight that came through was refreshing. There were a lot of restaurants and cafes that were walkable and the co-op a block down was convenient for snacks and drinks. I would highly recommend 39 Fountainhall Rd if you are looking to stay in Aberdeen.

Took us a little time to find our way to where we found that the access staircase was on the reverse/back of the building, looking towards the river, rather than on the street. Other than that we easily just followed Helen's instructions and quickly got into the house. The house was very tidy and cosy with superb views onto the river and harbour. It was great to find the welcome pack/supplies which included tea and instant coffee and marmalade and jam. .The whole house was very clean and tidy and cosy. The kitchen was lovely and modern and I really appreciated the supply of ground coffee for use in the cafetiere which was provided. We quickly settled in and also appreciated the big-screen tv, and the leaflets and books about the history etc of the area of Ferryden. Helen is a very good host and made us feel welcome with a smashing wee property for visitors to rent. Thanks to this we had an enjoyable wee break.

This was our second visit and all went really well as expected. Rosie is a very helpful host and the house has everything you could need. It’s not everywhere you can walk out from the door and see the beautiful River Don, the hills of Bennachie, a Castle and a Stone Circle all nearby!

The cottage is very easy to relax in. Bea and Moose were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed being there very much as well as visiting local towns.

Would highly recommend this air BnB It is very comfortable with lots of nice little touches when we arrived such as flowers in the rooms.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property, and Jenny was wonderful. She gave me a walk through the house upon arrival and explained all the important details — a lovely warm welcome. The property was in pristine condition, and the bedrooms were spacious with incredibly comfortable beds. We felt comfortable and right at home. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the amount of outdoor space too. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Thank you for making our trip to Scotland enjoyable and comfortable. We stayed eight nights in the East Lodge. 2 adults, 2 dogs. Probably the best stay we have had in Scotland and we have stayed in many places over the years. The lodge was perfect for us, charming and well equipped. The setting was exactly what we wanted, peaceful, secluded but also close to villages and local towns. And last but not least, Alexander was the perfect host in every way. We are already planning for a return visit!

This Cottage was a beautiful addition to our trip! we spent 2 nights here and we felt right at home. The space was adorable, private, comfortable and Dean did an excellent job communicating when we had any questions! highly recommend
