Monthly Rentals in Glenaroua

The property and surrounds are beautiful. I couldn’t have ask for a more quiet and restful long weekend. Having my British Bulldog accompany me was a highlight and she loved exploring the grounds. My little Kia Picanto had no trouble navigating the flat unsealed roads. Ben the co-host gave us a private wine tasting on site which was delightful.

Steve and Anne’s home was amongst one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. It was peaceful, luxurious and the best way to unwind for a weekend. It had everything my partner and I needed and felt like a true home away from home. Steve’s greeting when we arrived created a real strong, accomodating vibe. He showed us around the main parts of the property after he showed us where we’d be staying, was super pleasant to have a conversation with and provided detailed recommendations of where we could visit during our stay (10/10 would recommend Mitchelton wines). My partner and I will for sure be coming back here again :)

Deborah and Gram were very nice and easy to communicate during our stay. Gram came in person to let us check in. Loved the complimentary breakfast in the fridge. On our second day Gram came to help to light the fireplace. The view from studio was just dreamy. Unfortunately the weather was just not in favour but had a relaxing weekend inside. Would definitely come back during summer to walk around.

Mount Hope was a wonderful spot to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the verandah and looking out at the cows and the paddocks whilst reading and drinking a hot cuppa. The log fire made the house nice and cosy for the cold winter nights. The fully equipped kitchen would be perfect for a roast or an afternoon of baking. We enjoyed a walk through the paddocks and up the hill behind the house, a visit to both Seymour and Nagambie and the Tallarook market. We took bikes but did not end up doing the rail trail. A great weekend location not too far from Melbourne.
