Ochiltree is the largest of 4 spacious and comfortable cottages designed to make self catering an enjoyable experience. After your adventures exploring all Dumfries & Galloway has to offer this is a perfect place to rest and recover. 3 ensuite bedrooms, 2 are family rooms 1 containing a double bed and a single bed, the second contains a double and 2 singles. The 3rd smaller bedroom contains a single bed. There is also kitchen/dining facilities as well as a TV area in an open plan layout.

Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.
