My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. After staying at Maddie's place, I went back through the listing to see what it was rated -- and was surprised it wasn't 5-star by other reviewers. I've stayed in dozens of Airbnb properties - and this one was a winner. Clean, quiet, private, and beautiful. It was the perfect place for my husband and dog to get a bit of R&R. We took a few walks, used several of the amenities in the kitchen area, and appreciated the water pressure and temperature for the shower. And the view alone was worth 5-stars.

A modern Schlage keypad lock is mounted on a white door. The keypad displays numbers from 1 to 9, with a separate button for unlocking. A sleek black handle complements the lock's design. Light from a nearby window reflects off the door's surface.

Peaceful, great location and pet friendly. Near numerous Ice Age trails for hiking and lakes for fishing. Clean and well stocked with essentials for cooking. Comfortable bed and shower has great water pressure. Firewood provided for nighttime fires and star gazing. Deck overlooks trees and has patio table and cushioned chairs for playing games and relaxing. Would definitely come back here with our dog.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was even more private than I anticipated (that's not currently another rental on the other side of the fence) and the pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the grounds are. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the queen bed was comfortable. There was some traffic noise, being right off a county road, but not enough to make it not feel peaceful and quiet. I will be back!
