The Stable Wing

NickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely little place in a lovely part of Yorkshire. Charming character property with all the facilities required. Phil was a very welcoming host whose instructions and recommendations were spot on. Mezzanine for the double bed was a little tight on space but we managed fine. If I had to pick on something, the property could do with a lick of paint to freshen it up. All in all, a good stay was had. Thankyou.

We loved staying at this cottage, it’s in the perfect location and not far from Whitby. Place was clean, parking next to the cottage, and a lovely scenic view from the kitchen…was overall a great place to stay!

Thresher Cottage (self catering)

AshleighRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The best 3 night stay at Thresher Cottage. Surroundings are so peaceful, except for some friendly mooing which we loved, but Whitby and Pickering only a short drive away. Really impressed with the size and layout of the cottage, wish we had booked for longer now! Recommended to friends and family already

Horseshoe Cottage, Near Whitby, Glaisdale.

StephenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved our three night stay in Horseshoe Cottage. Sarah was very quick to reply to any queries and the cottage is exactly as advertised. It's situated on a steep hill in the tiny village of Glaisdale, which was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Whitby, which was a mere 20 minutes away in the car. The countryside is beautiful and the village itself has a shop, a butchers, a post office and a pub. What more do you need? The lovely winding roads that lead to Glaisdale, and the surrounding scenery of rolling hills and flowing streams, seems like it's out of a nature book. It's quiet in Glaisdale, so don't make too much noise. But it's hard to do that when the place itself just takes your breath away. Recommended for anyone looking to hike the hills and moors, and for anyone who wishes to visit Whitby. A marvellous little stay. I'm sure we'll return.
