Little House on the Hill

The Little House on the Hill at the eastern end of Warburton overlooks the chooks, the veggie patch, the orchard and across the valley to gorgeous 270° views. It is next door to the Big House, set on an acre that slopes down to the Yarra River. A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.

Julie is amazing, she is so attentive and kind. Extremely flexible and made us feel right at home. Our stay was truly great, and I cant wait to stay here again. I would give it 12 stays if I could.

This tiny home was the best stay my partner and I have had, and we have had lots of tiny home stays before, the location in the red hills was central with the tiny home being on your own private land with nothing around but you and the tiny home, it was bliss! The view from the windows of the mountains and surrounding tree’s was breathtaking. The tiny home had everything you needed, we loved the stove top facing out to the view, and the little fire place inside keeping its so warm and cosy in the winter, the outdoor bath was the cherry on top! Highly recommend, we would come back in a heart beat. The hosts are so lovely and responsive

My partner and I really enjoyed our night here. The view is breathtaking, the apartment was nicer than the photos and the extra touch of farm animal food was great. The bathroom was stocked and kitchenette well equipped - even a spare gas bottle for the BBQ. We couldn’t have asked for more. The goats, sheep and adjacent highland cows were so friendly and stunning to look at. Highly recommend!

My family had the loveliest stay at Mark and Katrina's property. It was a dream architecturally stunning property surrounded a well maintained garden and forest setting. It was obvious that the hosts have a high attention to detail and there was not a corner of the kitchen or house that was un-stocked or uncared for. We absolutely loved the stay and will definitely be back in future for another magical weekend.

Daniel’s place is beautiful. The indoor fireplace, electric blankets and heated bathroom floor were welcomed on a cold winters night. The house was exactly as described and pictured, very clean and had everything we needed for a night away. The chocolates were a thoughtful touch and Daniel was very accomodating with a last minute late check out request. I would definitely return in the future
