We had an amazing stay at the container cabin house. It's a really well constructed, furnished, and stocked up space that made everything from cooking, relaxing, and socialising very easy and convenient. The rooms were very comfy and cosy to sleep in. The best thing about the experience was the hospitality of the hosts. Kennedy and Siddy were friendly, accommodating, and flexible. They communicated early to make sure we knew how to get there, welcomed us into the space, gave us local recommendations, and accommodated our requests without hesitation. We felt that we had enough privacy while at the same time could reach out to the hosts if we needed anything. It's also in a peaceful area and close to nice restaurants like the Fig & Olive, and not too far from Como Tigoni. Would 100% come back and recommend this to anyone who wants to get out of Nairobi for a while. Thank you so much!

Nestled in the peaceful, leafy neighborhood of Karen, the property is full of charm and character—every detail from the rustic decor to the lush gardens gives the house a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. What truly sets Amani House apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff were attentive and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. A special shoutout to Russell, who was not only gracious and helpful throughout our visit, but even came to the rescue when our car wouldn’t start. He helped us jump it without hesitation—a small act that meant a lot and reflects the spirit of this special place. The house is beautiful—just like in the photos! The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The views are stunning, and the experience was well worth the effort to get there. Google Maps estimated 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Junction, but it took us a little over 2 hours. We definitely wouldn’t have found the place without the help of a local boda boda rider, so do plan ahead. A high-clearance 4x4 is a must to reach the property comfortably. Vanessa was a wonderful host—very responsive and accommodating, especially since we were traveling with two very young children. She went out of her way to support us and made our stay so much smoother. We’d happily return and highly recommend this special spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible views!
