Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Self checkin please note the cottage is located close to the main house and you can expect farm noises. We are close to many wineries and local attractions.. We are only an hour to Melbourne making this the perfect weekend escape. Included in the price is farm fresh eggs. Plus a bottle of our Petillant Natural Sparkling wine for 2 nights or more

This is the prefect location for bushwalks, mountain biking, winery visits or the other wonderful attractions this area has to offer. This cottage suits singles or couples (infant). Inside there is a woodfire (provided w/ wood), queen bed, TV, fully equipped kitchen incl. coffee machine. Bathroom w/ shower.

The barn is set up as a home away from home. Large kitchen and lounge room, bunk room and the other being the master bedroom with a queen size bed. Country and city views (amazing night light views) with outdoor sitting areas. Located on 40 acres with wildlife close by. Parking located to the left of the barn.
