Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. L' appartamento dista km 5 da Como, km 2 da Torno, km 40 da Milano, km 38 da Lugano. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Great location, walkable to both the train station and the city centre. Place was bigger than in pictures and is sparkling clean. Being in an older building, you do hear the neighbours a bit through the walls, but this is typical I guess, and didn’t bother me much as I was always out and it’s still quiet at night. All in all great value.

Beautiful apartment, which had everything we needed, close driving distance to como. Helpful hosts provided clear instructions. Would highly recommend this holiday home.

We held my brother's bachelor party at this villa. We were seven guys, and yet spending an entire night in such a large, well-equipped, functional, and welcoming villa didn’t feel expensive at all. The villa is perfectly suited for hosting more than seven people. The equipments are good, complete, and everything is in place to ensure you have an excellent stay. There were signs of life in the villa, so naturally a few minor damages occurred. But nothing that would prevent you from having a great time. On the contrary, everything that’s supposed to work, works perfectly. We were all extremely satisfied with the villa, located in a quiet yet lively little area. Denis is reachable by messages and replies very quickly. It’s very convenient if you have any questions, he’ll be there to answer them. Thanks for the villa ! :)

We had a wonderful stay in this place. The location is perfect to visit Como, Varese, Milano,… but we also enjoyed staying at home in the nice garden with swimming pool. Also, the bedrooms downstairs are nice and cool during the hot days.

A scenic view showcases colorful buildings along the waterfront, with green hills rising behind them. The Luganersee is visible, reflecting the clear blue sky. A few boats are moored at the dock, adding to the tranquil atmosphere of the area.

Ein toller Gastgeber, ein wunderschönes Rustico in einem wunderbaren Ort. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern auf der Durchreise, wir alle wären gerne länger geblieben. Florent hat auf alle Anfragen z.b. für einen eventuell früheren Check-In, schnell geantwortet. Die Ausstattung ist großzügig und die Einrichtung gemütlich. Außerdem ist es sehr ruhig und man kann super entspannen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Der kurze Aufenthalt bei Marco war sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung war außergewöhnlich gut eingerichtet. Die Möbel waren alle neu und alles sehr sauber. Auch Marco war bezüglich des Check-ins flexibel und hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und die Wohnung gezeigt. Falls sich die Gelegenheit ergibt, kommen wir gerne wieder.
