House vacation rentals in Gioiosa Ionica

A beautiful house with great pool and a very nice view of the mountain and sea. Kitchen is super equipped. Using the coordinates and Googlemaps provided by Monica, we easily found the house. We arrived at night and the ride by car to the residential complex where the house is located was a bit adventurous as it rained the days before and also on our arrival and the surroundings were very dark. But everything worked out Communication with Monica was flawless and she was very helpful. Supermarket and restaurants are easily accessible by car within about 15 minutes. We enjoyed it, despite some bad luck with the weather. But after 3 days of rain, the weather became nicer and we were able to explore Calabria. We would come back.

Beautiful, well-kept and authentic place. Lovely garden and pool with beautiful and clean view. Actually 7 minutes from the beach by car. The owners were very welcoming and flexible , they even let us find groceries at home and gave us veggies from their garden and fresh eggs from the chicken coop! We absolutely recommend the place! Nb: it's important to keep in mind that the other apartment that accommodates 5 people in the same property is just 5 meters from our rooms and the tables to eat in the garden a few meters from each other :so great for two families of friends looking to join for the holidays

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location. Beautiful outdoor areas for sitting, lying down and lingering. Pool nice, large and well-maintained. Beach a few steps from the front door. All in all, we had a very nice stay in this house. Our host Vincenzo was always available and gave us great service. Thank you 👍🏻

The perfect location to be close to Tropea but also have privacy and peace. Luisa was very kind and was always available to answer our questions. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed, the parking space was also very appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a peaceful space while also being close to the beaches.

We were guests of Mr. Francesco alla Formaggera for a week. La Formaggera is located in a unique place for the landscape that surrounds it and a little enchanted by the saturated atmosphere of history that you can breathe in it. The house is simple, but delightfully furnished; the kitchen is well organized and equipped with everything you need and you can have lunch and dinner outside, cool. Far from the chaos, you can rest in the shade of the pines, surrounded by prickly pears and Calabra nature. The beautiful pool and its covered patio, much appreciated on warm days, are certainly a strong point. The sea is close and in the nearest town there are supermarkets and many other shops including the excellent Lagani dairy and the nearby pastry shop. The village of Badolato, a few kilometers away, is worth visiting.

Antonio and his family are great hosts. The house is beautiful and the facilities are great. Whenever we contacted Antonio he responded within 10 minutes and he was very helpful with everything we asked about. This is a great place to stay.

This place is a gem!!! Includes an adorable home with multiple outdoor dining areas, pool (shared between a couple of villas), and a stunning private beach (down 400 steps but well worth it!). Our mixed age group (2 year old, 92 year old and 3 adults) absolutely loved it! Was a beautiful escape and felt like we were getting a taste of the region. We loved spending time at the pool and cooking in the kitchen. For those who may have trouble with stairs - one bedroom is ground floor, two are upstairs. It is only a few minutes drive from some great restaurants, and 20 minute drive to Tropea. Definitely recommend having a car if you stay here.

Alina's place is beautiful and conveniently situated. The view from the patio ( and bathroom) is breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting outside taking in the surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much and fell in love with Badolato.

Large spaces, strategic location, minimal finishes and furnishings but with impeccable taste and cleanliness. As well as the relationship with the Host. We spent a fantastic week of tranquility, beautiful scenery and excellent food. We'll be back and highly recommend it. Thanks to Luigi and family

If only I could've stayed longer in Dinami! Francesca and her mother were so kind, helpful, and welcoming- the perfect hosts and the definition of hospitality. The space is even more beautiful in person with lovely artwork on the walls. And just up the street you can look out over Dinami and the mountains. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Warmest recommendation for Danilo's accommodation! The apartment is located in a charming village, about 15 minutes from the beaches. Especially practical: an excellent trattoria is located directly in the village and is easily accessible on foot. Danilo was always available, very flexible at check-in and welcomed us personally – a very friendly and attentive host!

The appartament was very clean, modern and very spacious. Everything was very clean and the appartament had all you could want. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was able to be made very dark or you could allow natural light. Daniela was very nice and clear in her communication, she also advised on some great places to eat out. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

SUPER RECOMMENDED! The house is beautiful and is just as seen in the photos. TOP cleanliness. It also has an indoor parking lot where you can leave your car. The place is in a strategic area, because it is in a quiet area within walking distance of the sea (you don't even need a car to get there) but also within walking distance of the center of Roccella. The guys who helped us to meet our needs were fantastic and responded immediately. Easy check-in and easy check-out.

Apartment is nicely furnished and spread over two floors with two bathrooms. On the ground floor is a double bedroom and a small bedroom with a bed with the possibility to set up a bunk bed. The kitchen is sufficiently furnished. A washing machine is provided, Wi-Fi is not provided. The apartment is centrally located on a small side street. The train station is not far away. However, the train traffic is not disruptive. You can hear the occasional train announcements from the train station. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The communication with the landlord was quick and easy.

Andrea and his family are very helpful and communication was very good! The furnishings are simple but functional and quite in line with the description and pictures. In fact, the location and the views are exceptional!!! Actually, you hardly have to leave the accommodation, because the sea is literally at your feet. For us, a very relaxing and beautiful getaway. Therefore 5 stars 🌟

Very nice property, located in a quiet area. Great for resting or for business travelers. Not suitable for people with disabilities and those with leg or back problems. Elevated on 2 additional floors on the ground floor, a certain ancient style has been maintained with steep wooden stairs connecting one floor to the other. The bedroom with a bathroom and shower is located on the top floor. On the first floor, there is a nice sitting area with a toilet and shower. Wi-Fi is not available, but from mobile you can connect to the Internet very well (except for the kitchen on the ground floor where there is less signal). Alessandra provided several useful details and was understanding, meeting some of my needs. It should be noted that Google Maps goes a little crazy and confuses the real location of the property, but just follow Alessandra's references and you can find it quite easily. Great place for those who have commitments on site.

Adriano was realy helpful, he drove us to the train so we did not have to carry our bags. The appartment is located in the center, close to everything. And the view from the appartments is absolut wonderful.

We stayed in Francesca's apartment for ten days. At first, we were unlucky with the weather, and it was cold (19 degrees), damp and mouldy inside. Once it warmed up, however, we loved the apartment. It is located in a large, quiet garden, which was very relaxing. However, occasionally the dogs would bark all night long. This was annoying for my friend who slept in the big room. The interior design is beautiful, and the apartment has a lot of charm. It would have been great to have a vacuum cleaner to clean in between. The kitchen could do with a little renovation. Vibo Valentia is a beautiful Italian city perched on a hill. I think we were the only tourists there! There are great restaurants and pizzerias. Paolo, with Stefania's help, were impeccable guests. Kind and hospitable in their welcome, they provided us with accommodation in perfect condition, equipped with every kind of comfort. The house is located on a hill, a couple of kilometers from the main road network. It is essential to have a car to reach it. The reality is better than the photos! Unforgettable outdoor veranda where you can dine and spend time in serenity watching the sea. The interior spaces are spacious and well furnished. We felt right at home!

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation has everything you need for a good rest, very well located to get to both the beach and the historic center. The welcome with homemade sweets made by the host was a nice touch. Thank you for everything!!
