My second year staying in The Ald Den and I love it! The space is private and clean and very comfortable. I love waking up to birdsong every morning. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. Delightful cafes nearby! Winchmore Hill rail station is just up the hill and my favorite commute into central London. But the best part of being here is the kindness of James and Hannah and their little ones. They are a delightful family! If I get lucky, I hope to return again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I had a lovely stay. The host was welcoming, friendly and made it clear what the expectations were (good considering you stay with a live-in host). Very clean and tidy. Peaceful neighbourhood but with good access into central London. Cuddles with a very friendly old cat was an added bonus! Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Claudette's. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and so handy to have my own bathroom. Instructions were super-clear, I was made to feel very welcome, and such a bonus to have free on-street parking right outside. There's even a family of foxes who play in the garden in the evenings to keep you entertained!

Audrey is such a sweet, kind, and cheerful person. She helped us with everything and made us feel very comfortable. She has a lovely home, and we also really liked the neighborhood. The room is very cozy and functional — everything has been thoughtfully arranged. Being on the top floor is also a plus, as it provides more privacy. It's about a 5-minute walk to the metro, and you can reach the city center in approximately 45–50 minutes. Having a Tesco just a 5-minute walk from the house is another big advantage, which made it easy for us to meet all our needs.
