Several good restaurants and bars nearby; downtown Y a block away. 12' ceilings, hardwood floors, full kitchen and bathroom, coin laundry down the hall. Heat from radiators. Window AC units in summer. TV in bedroom. (For some reason, the listing says 4 beds; that is incorrect.) The apt. is on the 2nd floor: 26 steps. (No elevator.) Parking in lot across the street. Host lives nearby.

This was our second stay at this location and it was very enjoyable again. We were able to have family come and visit us at different times for meals and enjoy the comfort and the view of the quiet countryside. Morning coffee on the patio is so peaceful. Cindy always responds to any questions immediately with solutions. We plan to return in September so that should say a lot!

We were very comfortable at the Black Squirrel Inn. It was as described, and very clean. Everything was well stocked--this is the first place we've stayed that had a dish drain! The house was clear of clutter. Instructions were clear from start to finish. We'll be back!
