The Owlets is a 19th century single storey stone outhouse that has been recently renovated to a high standard with brand new fixtures and fittings, as well as traditional features such as solid oak floors and beams. We are located just 1 mile from Ampleforth College, and 4 miles from Helmsley. All welcome, including children of all ages and well behaved pets!

Brilliantly located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, it offers cosy and self contained , shepherds hut style accommodation less than 300 meters from a lovely country pub. Five miles from Helmsley and a short drive from Castle Howard, the Parcel Shed retains its original beams and enjoys beautiful views over the lower reaches of the Ampleforth Valley.

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 3 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.
