Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gillespie County

The house was cute, comfortable temp, beds were soft and comfy with memory foam topping, plenty of space, CLEAN, good neighborhood, plenty of parking space, and all the amenities. 5 stars!!

Great place! Peaceful and relaxing with a rural feel yet still close to all of the Main Street activity of Fredericksburg. We did not cook but the kitchen was well equipped to make a meal. Comfortable beds, great water pressure and quiet for sleeping.

Very satisfied with the property to include the back-yard which was perfect for our doggies. The residence was immaculant and felt like home immediately upon arrival. My wife and I will look to this address the next time we visit Fredricksville.

The host was accommodating, responsive, and flexible. It was easy to contact Melissa, she was very sweet and reliable. Enjoyed the place, was well equipped for our needs. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Any concerns were addressed and handled professionally and respectfully. I would recommend renting this beautiful abode.

We had the absolute best time at Ava’s place! The location was so perfect for everything we wanted to do, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was fabulous and our pup had the best time. Ava went above and beyond to be an amazing host and we would love to come back!

This house was a big hit with me & my friends! It was clean, spacious, and had a lovely backyard that felt very peaceful. We loved that we could walk to Main Street and felt safe. Highly recommend!

We lost our best friend, making our visit to Mountain Home a somber event. The location was less than one mile from their home making it convenient to travel back-and-forth. It was a blessing to be able to come to a peaceful and quiet place to rest. We did not have the opportunity to truly take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Everything we needed for our stay was available to us. It is evident this home is decorated with love and thought. If you seek serenity we encourage you to plan a stay. Ps…I enjoyed the treats especially the sausage bites…thank you.

Wonderful place to stay. It was very relaxing, and secluded Paul looked amazing. Unfortunately it was a little too cold outside to use.

Peaceful location; near Main Street . Plenty of space, jacuzzi was a relaxing added feature. There still is construction in the back, but did not disturb us over the weekend.

We enjoyed our stay. it is very easy to go into town or visit vineyards in the country. Very quiet and peaceful.

Lovely grounds and nice, cozy apartment on the first floor with a full kitchen, large bath, nice living room. Bed was so comfortable that we overslept! You really can't beat the grounds - like going to a park. No street noise. Out of town yet a five minute drive to anywhere you want to go. Best of both worlds. Beats a hotel room by a mile

Highly recommend staying at The Martinsburg! Clemens & Audrey are fantastic hosts who are so accommodating and friendly. The homes at The Martinsburg are the coolest tiny homes that felt secure, private, and cozy. Clemens & Audrey fill the home with thoughtful details, with everything you could need, down to dog bowls and dog treats if you indicate that you'll be bringing your pets with you. The retreat really immerses you into the charm of Fredericksburg, with local recommendations and even locally-sourced soap used in the home.

Paul’s place was just right for the getaway we wanted. Spacious enough for staying a few days. We wanted to have a quiet place as our location to explore the hill country.

We had a nice time! Very peaceful, clean and quiet place. I like that has minimal decors and spacious. Dana and Kelsey were excellent in communicating and messaging us about their instructions.

Enjoyed seeing the deer, Cardinals and squirrels during our stay. Relaxed in the hot tub, underneath the beautiful oak trees. House has all the amenities and kitchen items necessary for a home cooked meal. Went shopping at the local grocery store, also nearby. Location is approximately 2 miles from town. Close to several wineries and restaurants. Michael was very responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommended.

This place was great for my husband and I! Small, cozy, and peaceful. We had a great stay and would stay again in the future!

Great place overall. Its not as private as presented. there is another ABB right above overlooking treehouse and main house looks over you. Not a big issue but the whole point was to not feel like you are being monitored. The hot tub has a 10pm "curfew" I feel this is a tad ridiculous considering we are adults. I get it if you are dealing with teens but having a time limit at 10 for a private hot tub is over the top IMO. Who goes in hot tub before 10pm on vacation? Only other suggestion would be turning the air down. It was in the 90's and took a couple hours to get the temp down to 70 inside. Very humid with a small unit.

My wife and I booked a last minute trip Fredericksburg, and our usual spot was already taken — but we’re so glad it was, because this place was an awesome find. The cabin has a rustic feel with tons of character. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s located in a quiet, rural area — the perfect escape from city life. We loved watching the sunset over the hills from the porch. The hot tub and fire pit were great for relaxing in the evening, and the stars at night were incredible — way more than we’re used to seeing. The home is tucked away, with an easy 10 min drive to downtown Fredericksburg, all the local wineries, and grocery store. Sha was a great host — super easy to communicate with and made sure everything was taken care of from start to finish. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

I can't say enough great things about our stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The cabin itself was immaculately clean- truly spotless- and clearly well cared for. Every detail, from the fresh linens to the cozy furnishings, reflected the owners' pride in creating a welcoming space to the cabin that he built. Absolutely incredible hosts! They took the time to meet us personally and show us around the cabin. We felt like we were meeting old friends ;) The setting was incredibly tranquil, complete with sheep and a llama to add to the peacefulness. We enjoyed quiet mornings having coffee on the porch swing. The cabin is nestled in nature with just the right amount of seclusion from town to relax and recharge. To top it all off, the price was more than reasonable for such a high quality experience. We're already planning our next trip back ;) 10/10!
