The place is beautiful. You could see the Kanchenjunga range right from the window of the room I was in. The place being a little further away from Pelling city was quite and extremely peaceful. Every day I would wake up to the chirping of the birds. The house has their farm around it and the morning activities around the place fill your heart with a peaceful joy. Wangyal Sir and his family felt like my own. I am a vegetarian so the family ensured that I ate at home. I cannot even begin to describe the food. Fresh vegetables right from the farm and home made cheese. I think I ate more in those 5 days than I ate in 5 months. I cannot thank the family enough for the love and affection with which I was treated. Thank you Wangyal Sir!

Sunny is an amazing person and a great cook. His place is peaceful and quiet. He is always smiling and ready to help. He has a small backyard looking over the city view and one can enjoy bonfire and music with friends..

Extremely supportive, warm, and friendly hosts who took great care of us throughout our stay. Special mention to Gyatso and his wife, the staff and ofcourse the lovely pets. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. Though it’s a little away from the main town of Pelling, the peace, views, and hospitality make it totally worth it. Highly recommend!

Where to begin… Staying at Sristi’s farm was such an authentic and unforgettable experience. I had the chance to live alongside Sristi and her lovely family, and it gave me a genuine glimpse into their way of life. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home — Sristi has such a warm, welcoming energy, and we connected really naturally. She quickly felt more like a friend than a host. We shared some amazing moments together, including a trip to a beautiful river. There’s so much to do around the farm — whether you’re in the mood for hiking, exploring the nearby village (don’t miss the best samosa in West Sikkim!), or simply unwinding and soaking in the peaceful nature all around. And I can’t forget to mention the food — absolutely delicious, every single meal! Needless to say, I highly recommend staying here. It’s a special place, and one I’ll carry with me for a long time.
