House vacation rentals in Gettysburg

We stayed in Gettysburg for a family wedding and to visit historical Gettysburg. Finding just the right rental is always a fun process for us, as we’d rather not stay in a hotel if possible; The Wolf Den was perfection! We absolutely loved the off-the-beaten-path location and it is such a lovely home. To say Scott and Nicole keep a tidy home is an understatement! Not only was it impeccably clean, but it was so warm and inviting with a little something to admire in each room! We were visited by a mama deer, her yearling and her brand new fawn! We also caught a glimpse of a turkey strolling through the front yard. (Things we miss living in Florida) The tree-filled views are equally breathtaking. If we are in the area again, this is a definite repeat location. Thank you Scott and Nicole ☺️

It was, by far, the nicest Air Bnb home we have ever stayed in! It is more beautiful than even the pictures can capture. The hosts have thought of everything. They go above and beyond in every category of hospitality. I highly recommend staying here. If someone is considering starting their own Air Bnb, this is the place to learn from. Wow, just, wow! Staying at the Sunset House was great. Exactly what we needed. Kelly’s communication was awesome and she was very easy to ask questions. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. She has snacks and local info that is included in the stay. The location is quiet and peaceful and we even got a beautiful sunset one of the nights while sitting outside on the balcony. The house is only a couple miles away from downtown Gettysburg and is very easy to get to. Our weekend went to quickly and we hated to leave. We 100% will stay here if we visit Gettysburg again. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt we were in the most comfortable, luxurious and beautiful spot around. The house is appointed so beautifully and everything you could possibly need is there. Everything works beautifully and is easy to find. The house has so much space that a large party could easily coexist and not be on top of each other. Kelsey, make sure that you have everything you could need and plenty of it. I do not have one concern or recommendation. It was absolutely perfect.

It was lovely. Beautiful Kitchen. Huge Shower and beautiful bathroom. Deck was amazing with fish pond, hot tub, grill. Although we didn't have time to really enjoy utilizing all the amenities as there is so much to see in the area. But it was clean, comfortable. Only drawback was the stairs to the bedrooms but we were aware of that when we booked. Getting a little older now but made it part of our stair step exercise program. Wonderful location close to everything. Within a half an hour to Gettysburg. Thank you Robin. We had an incredible stay in your beautiful home. We recommended to all our friends when we came home. After an eight hour drive arriving at Hanover. It was wonderful to arrive at a clean and comfortable home away from home. Thanks again.

Where to begin with this review??? I don't know what Airbnb's standard is for hosts and homes but whatever it is, Tierra's place exceeds it. We will forever compare all short term rentals to this one because the bar has been set so high. The first few minutes of our stay, my wife and I walked around the home awestruck by the attention to detail of this home. Tierra goes out of her way with little touches that helps to enhance the experience at her home. I don't think there is anything Tierra hasn't thought of. If you are looking for the perfect place to unwind, relax, and feel at home away from home, this place is it. We can't wait to return!

Clean, cute, and updated house. Loved having the washer and dryer at the end of the trip. Liked that Clay had recommendations of places to eat and visit. His recommendation on Mr. G’s ice cream was spot on, I did not regret it! Only issue I had was with the vent in the bedroom with the Queen bed, did not allow for much cold air from the A/C, but thankfully the portable fan provided helped. If I ever come back to Gettysburg, I hope the house is available again.

Loved our stay! We travelled for a dog show and this was a perfect place for us. It was private and peaceful. There was a lot of room to walk the dogs and they really enjoyed the smells and all the nature. The cottage is very roomy, had everything we needed, and very comfortable.

House was very remote, but there was a small store about 10 min away for essentials. We planned our meals, shopping and excursions in advance, so we really didn't need to make any special trips. House was huge and had everything we could of needed. The Co-Host reached out to us a couple of times about mowing and opening the pool, making sure we were OK with it. We had a beautiful rainbow 🌈 to admire and the serenity of the home was exactly what we needed to reset. On the last night our Co-Host brought us a homemade Strawberry pie. I highly recommend this rental for anybody looking to sit back, relax and enjoy the quietness of the area.

We went on our annual friend trip here and it was incredible. Jeanne was a fabulous host and was so responsive. We tend to ask a lot of questions and Jeanne was always responsive and willing to answer our questions quickly and thoroughly. The driveway to the house is extremely long and very wooded, but the driveway was all paved, so it makes it very easy to drive up to the house. The little details (i.e. the toilet paper being folded into bows, the basket of s'mores ingredients, and the blankets for the fireside) did not go unnoticed and were a great touch! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well-kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing! We are absolutely thrilled we got a chance to visit this place and we hope to be back soon! Thanks for everything!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute and cozy in a peaceful quiet environment!

The house was great. clean, lots of towels, loved the hot tub. There are two things I would point out. The steps to the upstairs are very hard for people with mobility issues but there are four bedrooms on first floor. There are two single steps on the first floor.

Had a delightful stay while traveling in the area for our nephews wedding. The scenery at the home is stunning, beautiful front porch views, and we also enjoyed laying out by the pool and coffee in rocking chairs on the front porch. Beautifully decorated on the inside, and the landscaping on the outside was so pretty as well. Definitely recommend if staying in the area!

We had a great time. Location is beautiful and peaceful. Loved the farm surrounding, especially the horses. The fresh milk and eggs were a nice treat. We were kindly left fixings for S’mores and enjoyed the fire pit one night. The next night was stormy so we enjoyed playing scrabble, which was provided. No one seemed to miss a TV or seemed interested in their phones which was wonderful. We’re definitely planning another trip.

A must see for any Harry Potter fans! We were busy with a wedding weekend in nearby Leesburg, and it was a perfect place to be inbetween events. Lots of Hogwarts themed activities, including creative scavenger hunts and two escape rooms. Our kids and grandkids absolutely loved it. It is really a destination all by itself, and Nate was a perfect host.

The house was wonderful and modern with a great backyard to spend all day in. Lots of room to for any activities you may want. All the bedrooms were spotless and the beds and linens were exceptional.

We had a great time at Michael’s AirBnB! We would definitely stay again. The view of the river is outstanding, the bedrooms are perfect for large groups, and the living rooms spaces are great for hanging out. We did have a bit of a challenge parking cars due to the steepness of the driveway and the way the road curves at the end of the driveway, but being cautious when pulling out and parking carefully prevented too much difficulty. Overall, a great stay!

This is our second time staying at one of Laura's properties and each time has been terrific! What you see is what you get... a large fully functioning home with easy check-in, nice amenities, responsive host and easy check out! My family and I had a great time, thank you Laura!

Home was very inviting and came stocked with anything we would have needed. Located in a beautiful area surrounded by trees so it was very calm and peaceful, and we especially loved hearing the birds in the morning. Would absolutely stay here again.

Dean’s house is lovely little getaway in the heart of beautiful Harper’s Ferry. The view from the wine/coffee deck is absolutely glorious! Dean is such a kind and responsive host. This was our second time staying in Dean’s house and both times have been easy and a delight.

We had a great golf weekend in the area and really liked the accommodations. It was private, enough to fit 8 golfers, and close to many of the course we played. We will go back again.

Very comfortable and homey. Spent a lot of time on the upstairs porch over looking the fountain and flower garden. Would definitely go back.

Very safe location. Wonderful walking trails near by. Kitchen has everything you could want or need. Home is tastefully decorated.

Perfect place for our weekend getaway.
