Road is not paved but well maintained. Close to Historical Gettysburg National Battlefield, hiking and fishing. I allow a pet under 30 lbs. with a fee of $ 20 per night. Private bathroom and shower included. PLEASE NOTE: There are several steps in the cabin going down into the kitchen, up into the living room, and down into the bedroom nook. The floor of the bathroom is not completely even. This cabin may not be suitable for senior citizens or those who have problems with mobility.

Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. About a 20 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 30 minutes to Carlisle. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

My elderly parents stayed here for the last almost 4 months in total and we couldn't have been more pleased. Karen and her husband John are just absolutely amazing all the way around. Karen is so kind and so helpful, they really went above and beyond to make such a pleasant experience for my parents. Her husband John is just as kind and personable, whatever my parents needed, they were right there to take care of it. The place is fabulous! It is SUPER clean and decorated so nice, lots of space, big driveway, and a very nice yard. The location is just minutes away from all kinds of great things to do around Gettysburg. I could go on and on about Karen, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We enjoyed being able to chat with her here and there over the past months and we are going to miss her. We will never forget you both! Thank you for everything 🥰

This house was perfect! It was beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located close to all Gettysburg attractions! It is situated in a quiet subdivision which was nice to come back to and relax. It has a beautiful deck and nice sized bedrooms. Plenty of space for those in your party so everyone isn’t on top of each other. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back! Great hospitality!

The pictures don't do this cabin any justice. It was so beautiful and peaceful there! We seen lots of wildlife every morning. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and see. We felt right at home during our stay. We plan on staying again when we return to gettysburg. Chad was very responsive.

Stunning house & property! The pictures do it no justice. House was clean & comfortable, and grounds were beyond words! Hosts were very responsive. We had a busy schedule while there, and couldn't enjoy most of the amenities inside and outside of the home, but would love to visit for much longer next time. I could stay here for 2 weeks, on the property, and not get tired of it. Great location, as well. It was very private and tranquil, but within 20 minutes of any type of restaurant or store, big or small. We had an amazing stay! Thank you!

The place was cute, cozy and peaceful. The location was about 20-25 min from downtown Gettysburg which we liked. It was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and responsive! All in all we had a great time!
